From what I've heard they say they are good, and her mom shares some of her political brainrot. But I don’t doubt that in the back of her mind she holds a sense of disdain. Like all of her mom characters are never there and or are nameless/dead. And her women characters are just trash in general.

Its always been her vanity project. Its her rewriting her life into this EPIC tale of love and triumph. It doesn’t work because she can't take criticism, from how she writes I don’t think anyone in her family can take criticism for their actions, no accountability its always someone else's fault. Hence why the show babies these characters because they are HER and HER FAMILY. Which is beyond pathetic for a 30+ year old multimillionare white woman to get money to make these garbage shows that show the viewers all the wrong messages.

This always puzzles me because Octavia is clearly Vivianne as a teen. Both are alternative goths who have daddy issues, that LOVE taxidermy, she is one of her favorite animals, and she clearly is isolated and doesn't have many or any friends. Clearly a catalyst for the main comfort character for Vivianne because that was her a long time ago.

That SHE is the villian and that SHE is a bad person. That her studio and people working on the show HATE Octavia. When she is a character that you unintentionally root for because shes ACTUALLY right. Her only sin besides from being a woman in the show is that she holds her father accountable, which I don't think ANYONE in the Medrano household has ever done. That is why she is the bad guy, is that she isn't receptive to their manipulative gaslighting behavior. That they have to make a TEENAGER be the bad guy in their DEMON show where people KILL people. Is beyond ridiculous and is a horrible idea that would make any good writer laugh in Viviannes face, tell her to get the fuck out of the writing room and that they want two sugars in their coffee down at Starbucks. Whoever gave her the status to write anything beyond teenage gay shut should be fired and blacklisted.

Vivziepop use your money to get some therapy or something, get some friends that are REAL friends to talk to about your problems and hold you accountable to introspectively look at yourself. Friends that don't just lick the crumbs off your ass and say that shits gourmet.

Dear old Daddy's misogyny. He is the reason she became a literal self hating misogynistic pick me girl. When you're a child your parents have a direct tie to how you view others and yourself. Father's help build up their child's self-esteem, and their confidence. Giving them a sense of security and self love a role model blueprint for a child. Mothers on the other hand are role models someone you look up to and find characteristics of what makes a good character. They offer a sense of protection and family values, emotional support and comfort. Children often are drawn to the opposite sex parent because when they develop they have different needs. Sons tend to be closer to their mothers, and daughters tend to be closer to their fathers.


Vivianne clearly didn't have that.

As her dad clearly doesn’t respect women, and uses them. Ruining her self image and her place in the world as a female, he doesn't respect his family because he actively cheated on her mother and BOASTS about it with her and her sister as teenagers. And clearly has alot of negative traits that make a bad role model I don’t doubt he has said some fucked up shit about women to her, as she nods and agrees. Her mother on the other hand clearly has some issues with giving her some much needed emotional support. And making her BE that much needed woman role model a mother needs to be. I wonder if her father would constantly talk shit about their mother to them.

adolescence can be its own hell, as your emotions are intensified due to you mentally and physically growing. The difference being that once you DO become an adult, you usually gain experience in the world (whether it be through work, discovering hobbies, volunteering etc.) that reminds you that there is more to life than just you. Vivienne, clearly, never went through that important period in her life.
 
I always said that Viv unintentionally wrote about her own familial issues. I felt that Octavia was essentially Viv's subconscious coming through, but I wouldn't be surprise if her life was also similar to her writing of Octavia; both being raised in a pretty good homelife until her dad cheating on her mom ruined the whole family dynamic. And both start questioning what they had was even real to begin with. Octavia's story is probably Viv's story. And we have some knowledge of how Viv's story ended, so we can infer the same thing will be for Octavia as well.

God I can only imagine. If the end game is that Stolas and Blitzo getting married, Octavia coming back for her old man to cheer him on. Does that mean that Vivianne in her 20's-now finally accepts her dad is a whore and all his other flings, prostitutes, and side pieces are now apart of her family? No accountability on his part, and that she forgives him for the 3rd time.
