If this is the best response, than I'd say he's doing pretty good. "We should accept hardworking people who want to be Americans" is not only a far cry from "White Americans just aren't good enough", and is something most of the GOP already agrees with. People can change their views. They often do when the get married (even to a foreigner), and have children. Trump last I checked was the exact same way as Vance. Turns out all the footage they're gonna release is just gonna be of the area around his cell to indicate that nobody came in and out of his cell during the timeframe of him killing himself. Literally all they'd have to do is just make a set that looks exactly like the prisons hallway and film it on the same type of camera for 8 hours OR take pre-existing footage at a different time, change the time shown on the video so it matches and be done.
