Now that the appeal is in it should be retained under a litigation hold and will (or should, absent the unwritten "josh is the nigger of the world" law) result in a nasty settlement if deleted. But absent that litigation hold, yeah, it could be deleted legally. Or illegally. Like I previously said, the reality is unless you're directly covering up your own crimes nobody ever actually faces personal liability for records issues, across the country it's just a pile-on charge. Muh prosecutorial discretion and such.

We don't have enough information to say for sure whether she's still involved or not, but I do think she is still seeing Nick. We were told she has a boyfriend and new job, but where did that info come from? (My memory is shit, but I'm pretty sure that came from either Nick, Aaron or Keanu). We can disregard what Nick says here as his motive for lying is obvious. If it came from Keanu, she was probably lied to by April who was told to lie by Nick. If it came from Aaron, he was possibly told by Keanu who was told by April).

The biggest indication that this new narrative is a lie is that April isn't screaming about how she's been victimized by Nick which we know she loves to do: she accused several of Aaron's old friends of abuse, she bitched to Aaron's ex about how abusive Aaron was (despite really hating his ex), she bitched to Keanu that Nick was abusive late last year....and then suddenly quieted down around January and accepted her new life at some minimum wage job living in a small shack? No way.

If Nick and she really had split, I think she'd still be crying to Keanu about how abusive Nick was as that's her MO, and she's vulgar and immature and not likely to wise up any time soon. Nick is keeping her complacent somehow, and it probably involves a Balldo.

sometimes the foster care system is perceived as bad because 5 children have to live with a psychopath for a long time before the parents go off the rails and get noticed, too. then they get inserted into chaotic transfers and that is what takes the blame, even though 5 children (just an example, no reason) had been trained to be a little rough around the edges before their chaotic transfers.

The fucking Dept of admin called the Sheriff to read them statutes and they still rebuffed? The sheriff got on the phone with DOA and assured admin they would comply/reach out to Hardin? And instead they turned to the DA to sweep?

I'm now more invested in the case for the bodycam footage than the footage itself.
