That and it’s just like…fucking embarrassing explaining to everyone what happened, especially if he didn’t cheat on you yet. Is that reason gonna fly with your friends and family? Your kids? You can try to keep the reason to yourself but you know he’s not gonna respect that at all. Maybe your kids will understand in a few years but you might get the blame for breaking up the family for a while, especially if dad is the “fun weekend dad” who doesn’t make them eat their veggies.

I check up periodically just to see if there’s been any updates, but I’ve missed some steps of the story cuz her posts have been already deleted by the time I’m checking. Either she’s doing it, or more than likely Reddit is removing them in her wake cuz of Nono thoughts

That being said, the story has taken a strange turn where she is now been put on the firing line of the VA support subreddit she contacted for help. A lot of the people there as well are accusing her of causing the Troon to run away, and also accusing her of just marrying him for his VA pension.

Pretty much the title really. I know the majority of my friend group likes/did like Harry Potter. Hell I used to, back when I was a kid and didn't fully know about/understand what a horrid person JK is and the implications of her actions. When I first came out I said I wasn't bothered too much about them still liking HP, mainly because it's not like they can take back the things they purchased or anything, and it's not like any of them are super fans buying every bit of merch they can or anything. So I don't think they were giving JK much, if any money at all. And I understand that sometimes letting go of something you loved as a child can be difficult. But now with the HBO show progressing, and JK saying she's going to actively be using the money she earns to fund her anti-trans war, I don't think I can be so lenient anymore. Anyone who supports her in any way now is actively funding her helping to take away trans rights in the UK (Where I and my friends live btw) But I'm not good at understanding people or social things. I'm autistic. This wouldn't be an overreaction by me would it? It sounds perfectly reasonable? I'm also worried about possibly ending up with no friends, but then are they really very good friends if they support Queen Terf?

If someone chooses to financially support someone they know is actively using that money to take away trans rights, then imo that says a lot about their priorities. And valuing a show over the rights of someone you claim to be a friend to would be very telling

How old are you? If you are an adult I am less worried about you ending up without friends. If you all are teenagers then I'm pretty worried that would be an outcome BUT I would still support you standing up for what you believe.

As an autistic adult living in the US, I've made many similar decisions. My friend group is definitely smaller, and so is my extended family group. That's a real consequence of the choice I made to break with anyone who doesn't fully support my right to be free and safe. I don't want to lie or sugarcoat it- I mourn some of those relationships still, and I wish it could be different.

But the thing I wish could be different is that I wish the people I had loved (and still do love tbh) were not actively harming trans folks (and other marginalized folks) by their political and economic choices and positions. Living in a marginalized body I can tell you that making that choice still felt like safety even though it was sad.

Oh I probably should have included it, yeah we're all adults. I'm the youngest in the group iirc and I'm 30. I'm just really not good with people, meeting new people ect. So if I did lose them as friends I'm not confident in my ability to make new ones if I'm honest. But then.. would it be better to have pretty much no social life than socialise with people who support someone actively trying to take mine and other trans-peoples rights away? (Apologies for thr rambling. It's nearly 1am and my brain is fried)

So a year update. still no trans champion in League Of Legends. The latest LGBT champion revealed is Yuumi, the annoying cat that no one likes. She is bisexual according to riot. This years trans rep...some random cat named QiQi? Just to be clear, this character isn't even a playable champion in the main game and is only a Little Legend character in Teamfight Tactics. Good News For Me​

I would like to share my last two weeks with everyone as I just sort of need to let some good news out after everything that has gone down in my life.

Two weeks ago I should have been dead. That is right dead. I had a massive double pulmonary embolism that I flew home from St Maarten with. Every doctor and nurse that I have seen in the past two weeks have said the same thing, "You should not have survived the first flight home, let alone the second."

The "bad" news started when I was told that I had to stop my transition right away. I was like I just blew up my life and started this train a rolling in February. I waited 47 years to start this and you are saying I have to stop? Yes I have to stop some of the medicine, the oral Estradiol was not helping me with the clots.

On to the good news, since the US has fantastic medical care I have hit my out of pocket max for the year. I met with my gender doctor yesterday and I now qualify for BA surgery! We have to wait 3 months but I will take it as it will all be fully covered by insurance now. On top of that we will look at slowly introducing the patch back in at 3 months depending on how my recovery goes.

I just wanted to share this with you all as I needed to share with folks who would understand.

Yes, the good news is he will get more opportunities to risk his health through unnecessary procedures and pills.

health/stability question​

General Question

so i’ve been on injections for just over two months now. I’m about to turn 40. been dealing with a flare up of my back issues and wondering if being on estrogen could be exacerbating the issue.

for the last ten years or so i have been dealing with a disc degenerating in my lower spine. usually it’s not a problem unless i tweak my back but it is fine usually in a couple of days. sometimes i’ve gone years in between it being an issue. but lately ive had a few more flare ups than usual (and currently cannot walk).

i’ve heard that being on estrogen can weaken joints/connective tissue. i’m worried that it was just enough to tip the scale and entirely destabilize my lower back.

So, one who could have died, and another who’s fucked his back, and neither planning to stop.
