Ethan most likely saw it on the h3 subreddit after someone, perhaps from here, posted it there. There were a few times where Ethan posted some instagram story that didn't completely crop out the subreddit post he pulled a clip/image from. His stories and what he brings up on the show are also things that can be found on that reddit and typically things not posted there either evades his attention or he just doesn't comment on it. So, yeah, h3 subreddit is the likely source for Ethan.
