People like this legitimately make me MATI. The best description for this kind of rhetoric I've seen is "smug idiot." The other recent example I can think of is that Adam Ruins Everything faggot who was on Tim Pool's show. They feign disinterest or ignorance whenever any facts became inconvenient.

I'm sometimes guilty of this desu. I'll see a bunch of people getting out the pitchforks and torches over someone I I'm casually a fan of. Then I wander in and ask what's all the fuss.

When you like some figure who's actually a widely reviled piece of shit, it can take some time for the justification of it to come into focus.

Sometimes these "smug idiots" come around. Other times they don't.

Those Pinterest posts kind of suggest that Nick had more of an impact on Chaney than is being described.

And Aaron was very defensive over Chaney.

I wonder if Aaron knows more about Chaney’s involvement in all this. Maybe he’s just holding back info out of consideration for her.

I think the reason the CPS report against CB was not taken seriously is because Nick coached his daughter to discredit CB as a witness and this came out very quickly during an interview with the daughter, it's the type of desperate thing Nick would do. We're supposed to believe that this Nanny did nothing wrong for half a decade while working for Nick and before that another half decade with a different family and all of a sudden during a case in which she will be potentially called as a witness, there is a CPS report accusing her of doing something similar to what Nick was being accused of? In custody cases especially kids are often viewed as a powerful legal tool to utilize, parents will get them to say the craziest things but the court know how to outsmart children and will easily catch them in a lie. The only reason Nick was never told at the time was because it was proven to be complete bullshit.
