I live and work in downtown Atlanta and wandered over to Peachtree Center to get a burrito. Boy can I tell you what an unpleasant surprise it was to stumble completely unexpected into a furry convention.

Even though the prop had been approved through convention security checks, the furfags community online pressured the organizers to ban prop weapons for future events.

I am shocked that the larger hotel chains and adjacent conference center industry are still willing to do business with furry organizations. After the RainFurrest disaster and the entire industry getting together to blacklist that convention, you would think they would by proxy also start blacklisting any potential furry get together of any sort.
