i'd like to thank @dcss for being the reason i incited the voice call and talked to him about everything. this likely would've been swept under the rug if i didn't do a voice call with him to try and get everything done, and i'm really sorry that i ever tried to defend him. it's in my morals to see if there's a good side to everyone, and as it turned out, he really did lie about what i wish was the truth (where he never had sex with that person).

i have also just been informed of something very recently which involved a 16 year old. i don't know if i have permission yet so i'll hold off on discussing that for now. what i will say is that we had many quarrels in the dev team because of how i wanted to handle the game, especially its scope, while he kept building on a lot of fantastical or way-in-the-future ideas.

this has honestly been hell to deal with and i missed his confession, but i'll lay out some stuff

i reached out at 9 pm pst after i got back home. this was because i checked my messages before i went to take a shower, and someone from kiwifarms dmed me with the evidence that was provided here. during the talk with that person, i discussed how i'd handle it, and i myself came up with the idea of calling him. this is how it started:

i will say that i was honestly playing devil's advocate when talking about him being "honest," i really just did not want to believe he lied at possibly the most crucial point in time. but, that just makes him look even worse. ouch.

i don't think it's in my mind for me to forgive him. he lied straight to my face about dunkbunko, lied straight to my face about not having intercourse with this person, said he had no sexual or romantic interest in her, yet still obliged to fucking her, and likely lied about other things. as it turns out, even if i was close to him, he still wasn't able to tell the truth to me or anyone he was close with. that hurts.

for context, he was fucking around in the spotlight. it wasn't the first nor last time he did, and whenever he did spotlights, it usually either was TMI or he strayed very far off track from what he originally was doing. it is my fault for not doing enough to stop him fucking around for 90% of the spotlights, but i was just so, so damn tired of him pretty much fueling people turning the server into a second chungcord with how he acted.

starts a little rocky because honestly this wasn't the first time i had to argue about the scope (@jenna raiding posted that chat earlier in the thread), but i also have more information about scope, particularly about crashout survival

note that this wasn't the first or last time i even discussed scope before the 12th, it was boiling up because he STILL kept going on about new stuff "for the future" when i reiterated that i really wanted to keep ideas only to the pre alpha.

he said this while having a halfassed roadmap that didn't properly explain the details of the systems or how they should be implemented. this is also why the current ui looks like ass; i had to pretty much draft ui without any assets. despite him being the art director, i did have to do even the map layouts myself.

tl;dr: he was upset because i wanted to restrict discussion about the game to just the pre alpha because he kept thinking overzealously and hyper-detailing everything BUT the content in the game.
i really wish that he listened because most of the team had issues with how he ran it. they agreed with me a lot on the development cycle being strange. but, stuff is too far gone now for me to harp on that any longer.

i don't really have anything else to add onto right now. i might've forgot details while writing this because the situation was developing in real time, and i had to respond to so many dms, plus manage the servers, all that. i will end this with one more image though:
