And just like that, I THINK I might've found it. The reason why it was so hard to find is the building is brand new so it didn't show up on Google maps, it was still under construction in December 2016.

I'm not 100% sure since I can't get a 3D view of it, but it seems to have the same window/roof as the building in question. It's also facing the correct direction, south of the Cartoon Network building.

More evidence in favor of 303 E Elmwood; on the left is a screenshot from an innocent neighbor's airbnb (although they don't list exact addresses on airbnb, they're in the only building on that street with a courtyard that has ferns and palms) Note the shape of the doors and the fact it has handles and not knobs.
