Whenever someone rises to prominence its often the orbiters (on both sides of the aisle) that are more deserving of attention. Had DSP never gained notoriety, would we ever have stumbled upon Derich or the many, many dents that make up the detractosphere? Probably not.

Nobody has started doing any real due diligence on the people surrounding Synth, but we already have some creepy uncle dude writing Digimon fanfic. Fringe politics attract fringe people, so Synth's little community is going to be an absolute fucking goldmine.

Good looking women are certainly a good incentive to try a game, but they can in no way sustain it by themselves. This shit game was lucky to be able to make what it did due to anti-woke tube shilling it for le ebin own. I tried it for 30 mins then uninstalled it because it was really boring. I also think making the game into a full-on goon artifact while good for miling whales, just usually makes for a shit game. Ironically I have seen straight up porn games look more fun to play than these "based" doll dress-ups likve services

The problem with TFD is that the game doesn't know what it wants to be. at first it was trying to be more like Destiny, but with attractive girls and a third person camera. Then they pivoted into making it more about the excessively op play style of something like Warframe, and because of that the game has no content because Warframe doesn't lend itself well to proper endgame play.

The contents designed to be like a slightly less involved Destiny, (no in depth raids, for example) but since they made everything Warframe retarded you do content in a matter of seconds depending on what character your using making nothing worth playing.

At this point unless they make major changes and stop trying to copy Warframe the game will die.

First off, the suits always existed. That's not a new thing. Second, Trump has nothing to do with any of this so I don't know why your brought it up. A lot of this shit was happening in 2023 and 2024. Also, you'd be surprised to hear this, but people that like Eastern games may also play Western games because they like video games. SHOCKING I KNOW.

On Hogwarts Legacy, the reason it did amazing was because it was an open world Harry Potter game and normies fucking love that shit. I know someone in my family who's Switch collection is Zelda, Mario Kart and Hogwarts. Its still a massive win because, despite Troon protest, it sold well showing they have absolutely no pull. At the same time, its a whataboutism. LOOK AT KCD when it sold like 2 million. Thats good for it, but that's not some massive success. At the same time, 2024 was filled with flops: Suicide Squad, Concord, Dustborn, Dragon Age, probably some other black girl game from XBox I'm forgetting. The biggest successes were shit like Palworld (which still let you make an attractive character despite the A/B shit being pushed by Microsoft), Helldivers and Balatro (all of those games outsold KCD by the way). Most everything else flopped. You could also add Black Samurai game as "3 million PLAYERS" does not inspire confidence. Saying "X game did well so we're doomed" is fucking retarded.

But this kind of deviates from the point I was making. One of the things that has been successful in inspiring pushback is the female characters. I mentioned Marvel Rivals earlier which may be forcing Blizzard to rethink their own character designs and shill characters like Kiriko to survive. Its easy to see since its a Liveservice game with constant updates, but there will be others in the coming years as the financial chickens come home to roost (though story for another time). There is this weird group of people who want all the pozzed shit out of games but also somehow want them to be heckin' wholesome. This thinking is generally ineffective since it seems like your asking for two different things. The gooners are more effective since they are clear and upfront about what they want. They want hot chicks because they like attractive women. That's it. Trying to do this I WANT MY HECKING WHOLESOME CHRISTIAN GAME is ineffective and always will be because most people don't want that either. This is why I mentioned Gooner Gate. People like Mac and FeltedFist thought they were the majority when it was clear they weren't. I suspect this is some of the outrage on Synth too (outside of the bannings). Synth is siding with the anime fans in his little war and the WHOLESOME HECKERS aren't happy, but like Goonergate I suspect the actual numbers of these people are smaller than everyone think. This is a guy who streams an licensed anime game. He's going to have an anime audience. Its very likely this drama will not affect him in the slightest because of that.
