I do find it very amusing that people in this thread deride Kiwi Farms as being reddit-like or namefag heaven, but the sharty has to datamine your computer like a motherfucker precisely because there is no account creation mechanism in place to keep track of users besides their IP.

Meanwhile on KF I just register an alter-ego email address and I'm set. And I can post from behind a VPN without having to register for a pass. Incredible.

The term can't really be applied here very well because unlike the Sharty, KF has always required you to pick a username before registering, as is the normal with forums, opposed to the general anonymity of imageboards, where you can just post without having to make an account/username. Namefields just do not fit together well with imageboards and it shows. Take a look at nu/qa/ and, by extension, the Shlog.
