Ian's mean/angry attitude in the Cop/Deputy videos seemed really fake and affected, so much that it was hard to watch. On Hasan's stream he seemed like a nice autistic boy who just wanted to sit quietly and pet the dog. I'm more convinced now than ever that he attacked Ethan because Anisa wanted him to, and now that it backfired so spectacularly we may get to see a divorce and hear Anisa's most imaginative stories of rape and abuse. Then Ian can return to his true passion; making videos about squirrels.

It's going to be either trooning out for the last bit of relevancy, or the rope. He despises his Christian parents, and even decided to not spend Christmas with them despite the fact that the Jomha family didn't accept him spending time with them during the festivities (even though he took their last name lmao). He spent Christmas time alone.

Not to mention the many rants against Christianity on their podcast and the fact that Christianity is the "heckin' right-wing conservatard fascist religion" according to them and their weirdo lefty fake friends.

The only way he goes through any form of Christian arc is through direct intervention of Christ Himself. It's also the only thing that will actually save him from his cuck life at this point, as he's clearly not going to do it himself, he's isolated himself from the only people who genuinely care, and he's surrounded by snakes who support every step of his downfall into the abyss.

Do we know what Anisa's parents are like politically? I can't remember. Basically everyone in Alberta, outside of uni students and the recent influx of people moving here from other parts of Canada for better jobs and housing prices, are conservative af so it just sort of hit me reading this that Anisa molded Ian into a man her parents fucking hate lol.

This was back in 2023.

They talked about it in one of the podcast episodes how he was going to stay in Seattle and she was going to Canada to spend time with her family during the holidays, so he clearly wasn't invited. I'm pretty sure he also livestreamed the WoW gameplay during this time.

Edit: I looked through the vods that were reuploaded on YouTube on the "iDubbbz VODS" channel and he was definitely streaming alone during the Holidays. It was back when his WoW hardcore character died (lol).

I mean, her dad's Muslim, so I'm going to assume he's pretty conservative culturally speaking. He definitely wouldn't approve of his daughter doing OnlyFans, which is why she made the choice when it was clear he had Alzheimer's. I remember her mother definitely being more defensive and supportive about it during the time.

Ian's skittish and meek behavior reminds me of Cheryl Dempsey in The Poughkeepsie Tapes. If no one's seen that movie, it's a mockumentary about a sadistic serial killer that terrorized a small town before disappearing and leaving behind hundreds of stuff films along with a woman he had kidnapped and held in captivity for nine years named Cheryl, who he had brainwashed and forced to participate in his heinous crimes. By the time the cops find her, she's reached a level of Stockholm Syndrome so intense that she genuinely doesn't know how to think or act for herself and is desperately waiting for her kidnapper to return and give her instructions again (he doesn't and she winds up killing herself.)

That's Ian, sitting in that chair. He's so used to Anisa holding the lease that the concept of independent thought is uncomfortable to him. Everyone says he's looking to Hasan for approval, but I say it's more him waiting to be given direction, which I'd argue is worse. I can understand the mentality of a cloat chaser, even if I find it pathetic. I can't empathize with someone who refuses to be his own man.
 
While I do agree with the consensus that Anisa is most likely the reason Ian did his content cop against h3h3, I do wonder if that’s giving Ian too much credit as a “victim”.

You gotta wonder if Ethan’s success soured on him about how happy and succesful he was. It’s hard too understate how much money Ethan has been making trough out the years. Ian was succesful but Ethan far outclasses him.

Perhaps he did envy him and this is the first time he felt confident to stop pretending he was happy about his “friends” success.
