God damn. I knew Ethan gave them a pretty hard spanking but I didn't know he put them in complete shambles like this. The level of cope and cringe radiating from these videos is heavy. If anyone's interested I took the time to transcribe the section where Anisa's petdog shows up using Whisper. Even without context you can tell Hasan is a shit bag here totally no selling his "friend's" joke in front of tens of thousands of people.

But damn these clips are hard to watch. They almost made me feel bad for Ian, truly. The more I see the more I think he actually probably is autistic. He just has no idea how to be funny or read the room at all.

I mentioned it before but Ian and Anisa have both come out on their podcast and said numerous times that Ian is just not funny, it's a point he concedes. He even explained that all of his old videos were cut to absolute smithereens not for pacing reasons or to save the audience time, but because the rest was literally dead air. That makes sense now. The sad thing is it shows he has a self awareness and therefore a self consciousness about it. You can feel that he understands enough to know everything he's saying is bombing, but he doesn't have a clue how to fix it. Falling down the Anisa, therapy, and meds trap has made it worse, making his life a hall of mirrors where he can see every problem with himself constantly but can address it only through useless therapy speak and lobotomizing meds.

If he could still feel anything, I wonder how he'd feel about this. Imagine telling 2015 idubbbz that in a decade he'll be in West Hollywood looking at the back of Cenk Uygur's nephew's head like it's the Konami E3 2010 press conference.
