Not sure about the Indian strikes, but Pakistan was shelling Indian villages and may have sent troops across the border

that depends on how hard they chimp out. its not very far from the border to major population centers in the south. if they keep the fighting to the north nothing will happen because of logistics.
If they move the fighting south all bets are off.
you can walk from india to lawhore in a day...

I know people have been talking about it and all; If this conflict continues to escalate, do you guys think there's a genuine possibility of nuclear exchange? I can not think of a single better way for World War Poo to conclude.

"literally 1984" has become quite the meme online but I do genuinely think Orwell had some prescient ideas about how power brokers would operate in the future. Like every good sci-fi author he was early on his dates but the book was published in 1949, on the tail end of global war and the beginning of the military industrial complex. World War II taught every world leader that war is profitable, war continues manufacturing, war keeps people occupied, and war gives cover for any crime. War changed after the 40's, it stopped being a means of solving conflict and mutated into an infinite money printer.
