What things do you think Anisa ACTUALLY truly likes? All of her interests seem so performative and fake. It doesn't feel like she actually likes or cares about video games, hockey, boxing, sex work, weight lifting, tattoo art, fashion, progressive activism, etc. She just likes the image of someone into those things and likes for people to see her as someone into those things. Agreed, i guess we're focusing on different sides of the same thing. I probably am too soft on ethan because I went through everything I describe due to being born into an ocean of it. A fish doesn't know what water is so to speak, and i sometimes feel like i only managed to escape due to luck.
