I think Pats friend who told tattles on him summed it up nicely. He's just deeply affected by Pringles Can John and everything about his current personality morphed out of that moment. Getting exposed on Twitter was just a product of modern times, 40 years ago he would have just been a terrible co worker/neighbor you couldn't talk to about anything. Now he's everyone's problem.

I don't think there's anything too complex or deep with Patty like psychopathy.

I think Patty is just a mildly autistic (in comparison to other specimens on this site) halfwit. There's no real question about his lack of intelligence, but the fact that he's been able to woo at least 2 women means he's capable of interpersonal relationships. It's why I say he's mildly autistic, as autistic people do have issues relating to other people.

He's just a retard who doesn't know he's a retard and that allows him to be confidently ignorant and belligerent to the world around him.

However, he somehow figured out and struck gold online, both with a book deal that's real enough he can deflect criticism leveled at him from physical people in the real world, and discovering online that he never needs to be wrong.

Most fat midwestern idiots get ground down into something moderately bearable by life, because they have to deal with people who have to deal with them.

Ricky never has, if he gets pushback or shit on in real life, he can just go child stalkers online.

The twist is that he's so far up his own ass that he keeps doing it - he's stupid enough to get pleasure from it, because he actually thinks it's doing something useful.

I recall a situation a while back where an onaforums user posed as a pest exterminator and texted Pat, claiming that he had made an appointment and would be charged for it.

For most of us, if we were in a situation like this, we'd probably get on the phone with the company and say something like "Hey, sorry, I didn't make this appointment, I'm an internet celebrity and internet people are weird, please cancel this."

But Pat, having no idea this was a pest fucking with him, immediately threatened to get the guy texting him fired from the company. No provocation. Seeing him treat a supposedly real world person with the same contempt and douchebaggery as he would a random troll on Twitter really put things into perspective.

How he treats other people is mostly why we (ona) find him so hateable. I can understand him being hostile towards us because we've been fucking with him in various ways for quite a long time now but it's how he treats strangers that makes him truly detestable. All it takes is for somebody to come across one of his political hot takes on Twitter, politely disagree with him and within a couple of messages they're being childed and told how stupid they are. Fat hateable retard.
