Not to mention that there are registries for everything. You need to register your marriage with your city and state to have it recognized. You have to register births and for same. Many government functions depend on registries to function or for budgeting (and that’s just government).

The National Institutes of Health will begin collecting Americans' private health records as part of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s controversial plan to discover a cause and a cure for autism. NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya told a panel of experts about the plan this week.
The NIH plans to gather information from a wide range of private sources, including pharmacy chains, hospitals and wearable devices with health sensors, like smartwatches.
"The idea of the platform is that the existing data resources are often fragmented and difficult to obtain. The NIH itself will often pay multiple times for the same data resource," Bhattacharya told the panel, according to The Guardian. "Even data resources that are within the federal government are difficult to obtain."
The NIH did not return a request for comment.

Like the actual news piece, they can’t even get the name of the thing they are invoking correct. It’s HIPAA- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Which affects private entities obtaining your records without your consent. Last I checked, I can’t grab Pissa or anyone else’s willy nilly unless I’m on a list stating that she pre authorized me to take a peek at it. While there are issues regarding data sharing and leaks, this is yet more fear mongering from people that barely understand the concept they’re screeching about.
The 725 includes WIFI and all utilities. Her SSDI was 1188, but the cost of living increase for 2025 is 2.5%, so it's now 1217. That leaves her with 492 after rent.
She has a free phone with regular service plus a basic data plan. Her medical shit is free or almost-free. She doesn't have transportation expenses. She uses free services at the library for entertainment and gets an almost free YMCA membership through that Medicare/Medicaid program she mentioned last year (and the YMCA is right near her apartment).
Her only expenses are food, clothes and pet expenses. And weed. Lots of weed. She gets some food stamps to pay for some of her Jimmy Deans, so god knows how much she's actually spending on consumables.
Joh is still working too, at least from what I can tell. So whatever he’s getting is pure fun money. They don’t understand HIPAA at all. This would (almost definitely) be anonymized data. HIPAA does not mean “no one I dislike can access my health records even via legal means.” It means that healthcare workers and entities cannot sell your information and cannot violate your privacy by, for instance, ClockApping about how fat you are with identifying details.

In the United States, the government is already collecting your health data. If you're diagnosed with an STD, your information and diagnosis is sent to the local health department. They will follow up with you to get the names of your sexual partners.
There are mandated cancer registries. If you're diagnosed with cancer, your information is added to the cancer registry. You're followed for life, if only that you're still alive and have no evidence of disease. Eventually one dies or is lost to follow up.

There are many infectious diseases that must be reported to health departments.
I've also worked on research studies in conjunction with the CDC, and we were able to mine private medical records to find patients with certain diagnoses. There's loads of people that have access to our private medical information for very legal and legitimate reasons.

I'm not sure her apartment floor will be able to support her weight 24/7, so maybe she will unwillingly crash into her downstairs neighbour's apartment at some point.
If I remember correctly (it was this one or the other low cost complex that I originally thought she rented from), the pool is poorly maintained according to the reviews. Polissa really looked forward to that pool (and complained that the regular pool at the YMCA was too cold).
She will find about something to complain about soon enough. Every single place Polissa has been at, even Hell House, La Casa, and Izaak’s, she was content enough for the first month or two before complaining about rules or being “tricked”into living in a shithole. The apartment is also rapidly accumulating in hoard just from the one week update and neither of them are up to housekeeping. Joh is also one chimpout away from a noise complaint.

I figure what will cause the start of the end will be Joh chimping out on some 12 year old in CoD. Reason I think that is because once they've had a noise complaint Joh will make it his mission in life to be as obnoxious as possible.
