I have flip flopped on this. At first I thought it was anisa's fault, then thought that it must also be his fault, then back at anisas's fault, then back at ian.

But after this? I really dunno man. What possible reason would Ian have to betray one of his oldest friends and the only friend that still supports him while torpedoing his career in the process? Just so anita can fuck hassan?

Ian has been a relatively consistent guy throughout his presence on the internet, his behaviour only started changing after he met anisa. Its not like he has a history of flipflopping.

None of his new actions benefit him, they solely benefit anisa's wants. If they were "both bad for one another" then anisa should have also had to sacrifice or lose something for the sake of ian, but this relationship seems to be purely at the expense of one person for the benefit of the other, Ian has done nothing but give and anisa has done nothing but take.

Dude is literally a husk at this point. After the content cop I am convinced that ian has no free will left.

I have been thinking about this and I actually think Ian’s content cop did hurt Ethan deeply. But not in the way he expected.

None of the bullshit that came out of Ian’s mouth mattered .It was just the fact that he saw a person he considered not just a friend, but a family friend on it. It was seeing a friend of his family standing there with his, current, worst enemy, and his lackeys.

I don’t think Ian realizes that the only winner in this situation was Hassan. And all it cost him was his biggest friend, supporter and his most beloved creation. Even Anisa is taking an L as even Hassan thinks of her as an annoyance.

Definitely the first big backfire, since they couldn't ever bother to try and team her up with someone in her class and proportions. In an effort to virtue signal they were effectively saying they wanted her to get beat up by a tranny.

I get that he might have been annoyed at the moment but later he should have realised that the only way to spin it was to not take it too seriously and accept that he got something funny even if it wasn't what he wanted. I don't think Sam was being malicious and i think it cought him by surprise just how petty mr jomha was.

Harley has gained a lot of respect from me in the last week or so. Not because I think he's an honest, moral guy now or anything. He's just SUCH a two-faced greedy Jew that I can't help but respect it. And he is still trying to come off as Mr. Morality, completely unconcerned with fame or money. And most people are actually buying it. It's really impressive.

To this day I am still a little shocked Ian was never able to grasp Sam is playing a character. I have never watched a full Sam Hyde episode in my life and even I know Sam is just a comedian.

Yet Ian somehow thinks Sam is like that 24/7 and took him at face value. He was friends with people like Joji. He should have known better it’s all performance and real humans aren’t caricatures. Yet, Ian took Sam’s character as if he was a disabled mentally unsound person he could manipulate like Airsoft Fatty.

As for Sam? I don’t think he was even trying to sabotage Ian’s documentary. I think it’s more along the lines that he was expecting to interact with edgy funny Ian, and do crazy funny stuff together.And instead got the killjoy that is the real Ian.
