what an insane time for 4chan to be down. I guess we can expect an uptick of shitposting in the next few hours
 
I’m not even a huge Gura fan but I felt a pit in my stomach when the video popped on my feed. I know the warning signs have been there for years at this point but it still feels strange, like the end of an era.

They already pulled her out of some sponsorship stuff already like the ambassador stuff. She is not streaming or participating in voice packs or event merch for a while now. Also not the first time someone drop a surprise announcement, Raora moved her collab with GG at last minutes when Fauna post her announcement waiting room. People will probably start moving streams when they wake up.

I don't think it'll be as bad as it would've been a few years ago what with her extended hiatuses and Hololive's shift in tone, but as a Mythboomer it's still sad to see another one go.
I'm glad I at least got to see Breaking Dimensions before everyone started to leave

This definitely makes Breaking Dimensions feel like it was Hololive's last 'hurrah' of sorts. It was a great and magical experience and everyone in EN was there (besides Sana obviously). With so many talents leaving since it happened, I can't see any future event living up to it.
 
I feel like this is the only graduation where most people are not surprised. She's been psuedo-graduated for a long time and struggling with health issues. It's still sad, of course, but it was bound to happen at some point

I'm sad to see graduations because Cover is relatively good at keeping idols relevant with streaming schedules and because the characters work so well together with each other. You can't really interact with any of the Holo girls after graduating in a professional sense.

I don't think Gura is pulling a prank, but I'm hesitant to say its actually a graduation either. It seems way too close to Mumei's announcement either way.

I understand that. I’m just happy for the people as they seem much happier and stress free when they leave.
