It still boggles my mind to this day that he dropped that much money on a camera setup and never bothered to set it in a way where he didn't look like shit. According to his editor the camera output was at 720p or was larger and cropped or something like that. So whenever he full screened or the editor tried to edit he just looked like blurry ass. All the harshness of a improperly set up camera mixed with the Vaseline blurriness of low resolution. But being who he is he refused any advice or offers to help to set it up properly. I remember some paypig sending him the $100 proprietary Sony dongle to run off the mains because the dumbass ordered the wrong one and was still swapping batteries mid stream.
I am still surprised by how many people actually watched his streams for such a long long time. I thought he was always an unbearably smug asshole who rudely talked over his panelists all the time.

When the content was stuff nobody else was covering it was worth a watch. The one early annoyance I had about him is he'd almost never actually just post the pdf, forcing you to watch the show instead. I didn't mind too much, since the actual documents other than the lolcow content in them, were usually deadly boring.
That's why he should have stuck with the webcam. Pro equipment doesn't mean pro results. In fact it can mean the opposite. Buying high end shit you are too stupid to use is like buying an Italian motorcycle to ride to the store. You're going to crash and burn.
