Synth 100% has many of the elements of a lolcow, but he has enough countervailing characteristics and likable traits that a lot of people that browse KF will like him instead of viewing him as a lolcow, we're those people, but I'm surprised an outright cow thread of him hasn't been made yet.

I guess but we make fun of him an awful lot in here, the thread just doesn't veer off into alogging territory and demands to cancel him like 99% of lolcow threads in 2025. For some reason laughing at him while watching him instead of fucking with him is not allowed for a lot of people on this forum now.
That's the main reason I avoid the lolcow threads. Waaay to many of them are just hundreds of pages of angry ranting and unironic calls for rape/mutilation/death.

It caught Ptolemy off guard a bit but he rolled with it way better than Carl, who was clearly afraid playing into the bit would make him look weird. Ptolemy is clearly a child of the chan so there's no way he doesn't know what they're talking about.
It's very possible it is just some other degenerate that watches his content, especially since the futa rant has become easier to find.

For the most part people discuss him, his content, and the various topics that orbit it. We have made fun of Synth in the past for being a weirdo, but for the most part it's a Synthcell thread.
Like I said earlier, Synth's not really great for milk because he is too self aware. Everything you can make fun of him for is something he is aware of, acknowledges, and either embraces as a meme or just goes "yeah, it's bad for me. So what?"

I’d say it was this for the most part. When this thread was created, I didn’t really know about the “broader” community surrounding synth, just that I liked his videos. Of course anything regarding synth (or general vidya) goes, but where it gets into derailing territory is when people say “HAHA YOUR INTERNET DADDY IS A PEDO DIE CHUD!!!!!!”
