I don't know anything about monster hunter, is he DSP level of bad at games?

Not really, at least he uses some mechanics and tries to hit the monster. But for someone who has sunk 250+ hours in that game it's crazy how he barely knows all the combos of his main weapon and how he keeps getting hit by avoidable attacks.

It could be good "this is how you don't play" material though.

The cherry on top of the whole shitcake is how smug he is when he explains the game. He made a build which is abysmal, made some shorts about the game which are either takes everyone agrees with or him trying to RP as some kind of monster hunter fan but something feels off.

I dont play ranged at all but from what Ive seen, they gutted bowguns. Even less customization (no custom scope, deviation, spread, etc) and even less ammo options mid hunt so you just spam 1 or 2 type and use your special if it's up.

A lot of studios offer up voice training/coaching and given his dad was involved in creating cinematics for Blizzard, I don't think it'd be a reach he might've had aspirations to be a VA one day and got some voice training.
