That's not how I remember it. They brought up that if CloudFlare could take down the Farms, nothing could stop their website from being taken down. They might not have agreed with KF but they were aware a line had been crossed.

Someone has to extend the first olive branch for any sort of cross-aisle accord to form.

To look at it from a results-oriented perspective, I see two possible outcomes:
1. They accept the offer, and the Farms receives an influx of users willing to fund their interests. This is a propaganda win and probable financial win for the Farms.
2. They reject the offer. This is much more likely, however the ritual rejection of the Bad Evil Wrongthink Website reinforces their virtue with the progressive left on every issue except the obvious one, which makes the odious gravedancing from the expected parties all the more likely to peak other lefties. This is a small propaganda win for ex-Ovarit users, costs the Farms nothing, and is likely to provide, to borrow a hoary phrase, lulzworthy content.

Overall, I think the idea has enough merit to at least deserve a second look.

Not really like Mumsnet. Radfems aren't into kids or mothering, and if you dare to have sons then you're "breeding the next rapist". Ovarit lowkey despised mothers I reckon, even though they wouldn't admit it. They're more cat ladies/child-free/lesbians. I used to read that site and enjoyed the tranny posts, but yeah. If you had any men in your life you actually liked you probably wouldn't fit in there

Exactly. I can't count the number if times I saw "...over in the Fruit Farms" or some variation thereof mentioned in the comments. Got hit up with "Oh, got a link?" and would pass it on.

And the admin, girl_undone, said more than once that "tranny" and "troon" weren't allowed because of the website host's rules.

There's already crossover membership between the Farm and Ovarit.

I was browsing youtube and for some reason the algorithm blessed me with... whatever the fuck this fat blob of a tranny is.



The video itself is just a sports prediction, but the channel itself has all sorts of things, including him at an anime convention, obligatory bitching about elon musk, and whatever else is hiding on this fat fuck's channel. There's 1700 videos total on the channel. Might be worth a dig, but I'm too tired to do it myself at the moment.

Having a subforum to replace that site would be fine tbh. If any of their users want to use it then they can have a more free space than before.

Y'all were already contemplating it when Trump won the election and became president. Now it's "more than ever" to be true and trans, they keep saying. More like it's more than ever people are realizing how much of a sham transgenderism was and it longed stopped being a genuine disorder and just an ideology used to play dress up and act out PornHub scenes.

God. All of what people try to brush off detransitioners became the sort of coping that I feel should become a new genre because this is ridiculous. Are they really in the ideology that deep? To where any sort of person who realizes being trans ain't for them breaks their brain and make them freak out over the fact that someone doesn't want to inject themselves with hormones or believe into an ideology that'll do FAR more harm than good? I don't even want to call them stupid just... incredibly out of it. It's a sort of delusion that I feel happened long before they became transgender.

Disagreed, I lurked there when KF was down or I had nothing else to do. It's not like Mumsnet because it's not a forum to talk about raising children, but it's also not a radfem exclusive site. You didn't have to be unmarried or childless to participate. I saw plenty of discussions like "did you take your husband's last name" and they certainly don't all agree on "abort any male fetus". Some circles focus on sharing news about men's violence in the whole world, so you probably shouldn't go in there and be all "but not all men", but if you share news about men being supportive, very few will complain. The site is still up even, so anyone can go and check.
 
It's a shame to see Ovarit shutdown. Kiwifarms and that site were the reasons I peaked as a moid and helped me understand that not every feminist is a misandrist banshee. I for one welcome all the annoying bitches that will come here, because they'll either make funny posts, or get made fun of instead, it's a win-win.

Dude, you may not think so, but I found the site pretty harsh on mothers especially the dreaded "Boy Moms". Maybe you don't have sons yourself, so you didn't pick up on it but here's 2 quick examples I googled:

I watched a snippet of the video and holy shit the lack of self-awareness this guy has is incredible. I guess there's no better way of showing people you totally don't care about how they talk about you like making an animation where you use your flamboyant, cracking voice to read through comments that piss you off, and selecting only comments that a man would take offense to, such as descriptors of your jawline. What a sad waste of talent, and a man.
