I firmly believe that was mostly Vivek's doing, the last time Elon mentioned sending tons of Indians to the US to take all the jobs Vivek was working directly with Elon. We all know how pajeets work, the first thing Vivek probably did on day one is fill Elon's head with a bunch of "India superpower 2030" bullshit. Trump very quickly fired Vivek and Elon hasn't mentioned Indians since. Elon isn't perfect by any means but I think it's beyond autistic to ignore all the great stuff Elon has done with DOGE, stuff that people like me have wanted done for decades but thought it was impossible, just to sperg about that one time Elon mentioned Indians. It's pure lunacy. It's no different than those "never Trump Republicans" retards that can't get over the bumpstock ban and continue to ignore the great stuff Trump has done.

The fuck are you on about? I can give, without hesitation, two facts about Thomas Pynchon. One, that you've never read a single word that he's written, and two, that way less than 1% of Hollywood types have ever heard of him.
 
Boasberg cucked out for now, he made no ruling during the hearing but rather, as expected, used it as an opportunity to chastise the Trump Administration in general and Trump himself in particular. But he did renew his threats that if Trump did indeed give permission to not turn the planes around he will "face the full consequences of ignoring a legal lawful court order".

The judge noted that the Trump administration's arguments about the extent of the president's powers are "awfully frightening" and a "long way from" the intent of the law.
He also vowed to hold the Trump administration accountable, if necessary, if they violated his court order last weekend blocking the use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport the Venezuelan migrants.

"The government's not being terribly cooperative at this point, but I will get to the bottom of whether they violated my word and who ordered this and what's the consequence," he said.

TLDR: The judge used this chance to try to score some political points and did nothing but bitch, gripe and grandstand from the bench.

EDIT 2: Trump's DoJ has issued a mandamus to the DC appeals court this afternoon to stop this judges case. It won't work of course because it's the DC Appeals Court but then they can go to SCOTUS and get a final answer one way or the other.

The answer seems to be that lib-lady is "playing a character". I'm not saying the video is fake, rather that our culture has become so performative that lib-lady wouldn't even be able to give you an honest answer on why she did this. It's just "what you do". Columbia University will cede to President Trump’s far-reaching demands in negotiations over $400 million in federal funding he revoked this month, according to a memo from the school to the administration.
Columbia agreed to ban masks, empower 36 campus police officers with new powers to arrest students and appoint a senior vice provost with broad authority to oversee the department of Middle East, South Asian and African Studies as well as the Center for Palestine Studies.

That stark reality hovers behind the school’s concessions. Columbia has agreed to curtail protests that take over buildings and disrupt classes. The school will require protesters to identify themselves and will review admissions practices to “ensure unbiased admissions processes.”
Columbia noted they have “identified a recent downturn in both Jewish and African-American enrollment, and we will closely examine those issues.”
The school will also adopt a new definition of antisemitism, created and recommended by Columbia’s own antisemitism task force lastAugust. That definition includes excluding Jews based on their attitudes toward Israel and celebrating violence against Israelis or Jews.
Jewish students say they have been excluded from student clubs because they believe the state of Israel has the right to exist. The new definition sets a standard for how opponents of Israel can express their dissatisfaction without being antisemitic.
