He, like anyone else voting Democrat, did waffle on this to the surprise of no one, but his reasoning was that he had actually wanted Kamala to win the primaries and be the candidate in 2020 so he was okay with it. As insane as that might sound, someone dug through his tweets and discovered the piggy was actually telling the truth and that he was supporting Harris during the 2020 primaries and wanted her to be the nominee for the 2020 election. That says so many things about both Patrick and Kamala.
The one time he's not performing feats of mental gymnastics so stunning even the Russian judges would need to give him a 10 and the truth turns out to be so much more horrifying. Harris got blown out so badly by Tulsi during a debate that she dropped out before the primaries. No one liked her and she was only chosen by Biden to prevent the party from ousting him sooner than they did. Though perhaps it was Kamala's record on imprisoning black men that drew Rick to her in the first place.
I don't think Rick suffered much cognitive dissonance from making the shift and rationalized it as getting what he wanted all along. It wouldn't matter much if that weren't the case though. He's so disconnected from reality that any dissonance from this would amount to pissing into an ocean. His own mind has become a prison. Whether or not Fatrick is actually enjoying any of it though is debatable.

But it would make for some funny reading as his vast Twitter history comes into play to show that he’s a belligerent idiot that engages in public comment. As a self-proclaimed public figure (political firebrand in his bio) he’s going to have a hard time showing any actual damages from Leslie’s speculation about the SWATs.
He probably knows this which is why he keeps yelling at her instead of lawyering up like he’s threatened.

It's hilarious to me that Pat dismisses the J-20 as "proven" "mostly a failure", and that any ground/sea-based system air-defense system in the PLA inventory is not an answer to the F-35. The capabilities of the J-20's radar and missiles, and it's radar signatures, are state secrets. The J-20 is in mass production, and the Chinese have the fastest growing 5th Gen fleet in the world. American officials have said things to the affect of "it's a good system but we're not afraid of it", which is a pretty far cry from "it's not a threat".
I should also point out that China is demonstrating flying prototypes of a new generation of fighter aircraft, while the U.S. 6th Gen manned fighter program is a paper plane behind the wood shed with the DoD waiting for a thumbs up or down from the new administration to continue. Anyone who thinks Biden reinforced the American military's global primacy and did not undermine it is not paying attention.
Lastly, I will point out that the export model of the F-35 has critical technology removed to protect it from foreign inspection. If Portugal cancelled their orders of nerfed F-35s, it wouldn't even register on Putin's radar. He couldn't care less if they order F-16Vs or Gripens instead.
Fat should stop pretending to have a valuable opinion on military intelligence. He couldn't even get a security clearance with his personal history.
