Funny thing is shotguns take the most “skill” compared to other options. It’s not very beginner friendly. You need to pattern it, worry about short stroking it, have correct ammo. He would’ve been better off with getting an AR since regular and plentiful 5.56 55 grain isn’t something you need to worry about (not going to get into heavier grains and twist) and all you have to do is load mag, lock bolt forward, hit unsafe. And there’s plenty more training classes available for it.

Would be absolutely funny if the Thorpe show up and he has birdshot and fires from a distance in a panic and it does nothing to them.

RTU bought a gun to protect himself from the Thorpe. Sure they are nasty and will do almost anything for clout, but they're not dangerous (except for Ben, but he's only dangerous to little girls.) Never mind Dickers should shoot Ben, he might try something with his blind daughter. A shotgun isn't hard to use, just load, pump and AIM, AIM, AIM at Ben and squeeze the trigger. Dickers buy buckshot or slugs.

I'm as pro gun as it gets, but Dickers probably shouldn't have a gun. He seems like the exact kind of guy that will blast it off into his wall while high and then blame the gun.
