In the case of Bridget, the rationale was rather innocuous in that the creator had wanted a "cute character" but not a girl. Also, since the cute girl character spot was already filled by May and trying to do something different instead of same old, same old. As discussed in an interview done shortly after the release of Guilty Gear X2.
Yeah; never believe anyone, even devs, who swear up and down that Bridget was always a troon. Devs historically have no compunctions about making up stuff in the moment that do not comport with past statements if the truth would cause a PR problem.

An excellent example is Shantae's designer saying she's always been an adult where he is on record calling her a kid before.

What game is that?
Pick a Call of Duty game with skill based matchmaking. Eventually it'll decide you've had too much fun and stack a team against you and you'll get to spend some time getting your shit pushed in. Team Red is the geopolitical equivalent of getting matched against a good clan, team Blue are the tards who think every game type is team deathmatch and you're playing domination.

Not getting nuked in a WW3 is a backhanded compliment. On one hand you win as you're not nuked, but on the other hand you realize no one cares about your country.

It's not that Trump is going annex Canada. It's just that at the rate Canada's crashing, it's naturally going to happen. You think the housing crisis in the US is bad? The crisis in Canada is 3x worse. Rent in Montreal far and away outpaces New York and New Jersey, two of the most notoriously expensive states in the country. Canada is slowly morphing into a hell hole and it's 1000% the fault of the Trudeau Administration. It's not so much that Trump has to conquer and annex Canada, the country is just on the verge of falling apart naturally. It won't be some great conflict or vote will take place. For the average person, they will literally wake up to the news and see "Canada has officially become a US territory". Overnight, they will become Cold Puerto Rico
So Canada should commit a 9/11 so the US invades and spends billions on a hearts and minds campaign.

Or Marvel Rivals.

Its like a team of Venom, Dr Strange, Moon Knight, Winter Soldier, Cloak & Dagger and Iron Man.

Versus a team of Jeff, Spiderman, Black Widow, Adam Warlock, Hawkeye and Psylocke.

Are you niggers serious? "If Musk has his way, there'll be less fed niggers to steal more of your fucking money and waste it on useless nigger shit, and that's heckin' bad", is that what they're saying? Oh no, not the poor tax niggers! Gotta think of the tax niggers fucking eat shit and die, faggots.

What else are they dooming about?

Not sure about the IRS thing, but when it comes to cutting spending, some government spending creates more value than would be achieved if the money was given back to the public in the form of tax breaks. Education (in the broad sense) is the perfect example of this (taxes for education creates future entrepreneurs who create value and increase the size of the economy).

What DOGE should be doing is evaluating each of the things the government spends money on and seeing if they create more value than they cost in taxes. USAID would be weird to analyze this way, you've have to assess the value of securing international trade deals with the goodwill that USAID buys.

I don't know if anyone in the thread will still listen to me, but I promise you this is true.

Also, would.

Edit: typo

This story is one of the most enraging things I've ever heard. Ever. Period.

Have none of these people read any history? Do they not know the basic adage about armies and stomachs? Providing abundant, good food to your soldiers is one of the biggest indicators you will win your battle. Half-starving them and forcing them to eat garbage is a morale killer to end all morale killers.

I genuinely don't get it. What the fuck does the military need to spend that money on that's more important than feeding its personnel?

Can you imagine for a moment the shitfit the left would have if this kind of situation happened to prisoners? But hey it's just soldiers so the bleedinghearts are nowhere to be found.
Sun Tzu is rolling in his fucking grave right now.

People died. Very sad. If you mother was the World Trade Center, they could have hit both towers with one plane. Cause she's fat.
Every time your just about to escape samsara trump is gonna put you in the crystal and then reincarnate you as a black woman.

@9 / 11 I'm sure you're arguing from a good place, but I hated the IRS before and I fucking hate them even more now after seeing how the majority of government bureaucracy loves fingering my money like a blacked-out whore . They get enough revenue elsewhere; more than enough if it wasn't for bloat and absolute waste on random bullshit. I'm beyond considering other viewpoints on this matter. I want to see the income tax ended and watch the IRS die.

Holy shit. This entire thing is such as tell. Expand it and look at the parts I bold + underlined. "View", "feel", "see", "seem". Basically they don't accept that this is how they actually are, that none of it is true and that they just "seem" that way. They think it's a messaging issue and not their actual policies.
  1. They are excluding the working-class voters
  2. They are disconnected from everyday people
  3. They are more focused on cultural and social issues
  4. They are hard for working-class voters to connect with
  5. They are intolerant of internal debate
  6. They are defending elite institutions
  7. They are allowing the far-left to define their party
  8. Same as above
  9. They are out of touch (repeat)
  10. They are pessimistic and unpatriotic
They only way they can win is if they accept this and actually change their positions, rather than thinking they can just change their language to fool voters. Good luck.
Takeaways on Why Democrats Have a Cultural Disconnect with the Working Class
1. Overemphasis on Identity Politics
Many working-class voters feel Democrats prioritize niche identity-based groups with overbroad, unifying messages, making them feel excluded rather than included.

2. The “Faculty Lounge” Problem
Democrats are often viewed as judgmental, out-of-touch, and dismissive of those without elite education or progressive views. This makes the party seem disconnected from everyday people.

3. Failure to Prioritize Economic Concerns
While voters struggle with jobs, wages, and inflation, Democrats are seen as more focused on cultural and social issues than on economic progress and opportunity.

4. Weak Messaging & Communication
The party’s language is often vague, politically correct, or overly intellectual, making it hard for working- class voters to connect with Democratic policies.

5. Fear of Dissent Within the Party
Democrats are perceived as intolerant of internal debate, where questioning progressive orthodoxy results in backlash rather than open discussion. Candidates and operatives need to feel more comfortable just saying NO to activist groups and unpalatable far-left ideas.

6. Attachment to Unpopular Institutions
Democrats are seen as defending elite institutions (academia, media, government bureaucracy) while being critical of institutions working-class people value (churches, small businesses, police)

7. Allowing the Far Left to Define the Party
Activist groups and progressive staffers push unpopular cultural positions, making it seem like Democrats are more extreme than they actually are. Operatives and campaigns must remember that activist groups exist to promote their single issue and raise money around it, not to make Democrats electable.

8. Reactionary Rather Than Proactive
Democrats often let Republicans set the terms of cultural debates (e.g., crime, immigration) instead of clearly defining their own positions in a way that resonates with voters.

9. Overreliance on Buzzwords & Political Correctness
Terms like "pregnant people" and "Latinx" alienate working-class voters who see them as out of touch with real-world terms and vocabulary.

10. Lack of a Positive National Identity Message
Democrats focus too much on America’s flaws (racism, sexism, inequality) without acknowledging the country’s progress and potential, making them seem pessimistic and unpatriotic.
