Chutkan is an Obama-appointed Judge who was the presiding judge over the criminal trial of then-former U.S. president Donald Trump over his alleged attempts to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election. She also oversaw a number of January 6, 2021 related cases and was particularly tough on the defendants and ordered at least some jail or prison time in all cases. It is fitting she has been assigned to go against DOGE.

Bunch of CDC guys getting laid off, including the entirity of the Epidemic Investigative Service. as a note, I have heard that it is just 'phase one' but I cannot find a news source on that claim

I was thinking about what to write regarding those bitching that Trump not following procedures means that USAID gets funding back.

All I can say is seethe.

What did you think was going to happen when you push through a radical change and disrupt ongoing projects? If a business cut contracts without having a reason or a clause, they get sued for breach of contract.
