It’s fascinating how the number of “allies” screeching about trans rights has noticeably decreased in the past couple of years. I think if these executive orders had been only 2/3 years ago, there would have been large protests.

It’s partly because wokescolds are authoritarian at heart (while identifying as rebels), so once they saw the tides turning from Western governments, healthcare authorities and the media, it lost its illusion of righteousness and validity.

They no longer have the power of the state and the media allowing - even encouraging- them to terrorise cis scum, terfs and transphobes.

They never actually cared, what they cared about was basking in the power of being on the right side of history.

Unrelated to the user but I looked at that retweet and couldn't help but add something to it.

It's okay to worry about majority-American issues when it's convenient, isn't it? For them, it's okay to worry about preserving the feelings for a 0.1% minority over the feelings of half of the entire country. But now when Trump's in office, suddenly they're caring about the majority-American struggles, the sort of struggles that they most likely never give a single care about—or at least publicly voiced on—until le evil dictator came into office. The sort of struggles that Trump knew was going on and wanted to try at his best to combat it.

The very thing on why he won in the first place because he put majority issues over minority issues, something that Kamala absolutely failed to do. You can preserve the rights for LGBT all you want but most Americans care more about being able to not pay more than they need to on rent and groceries than whether some random trans person gets to be called by neopronouns or something.

Reminds me of Roe vs. Wade and the general 2024 election of Trump winning that had reactions that became the embodiment of, "Oh NOW you guys care about the rights of real women? Wowsa!".

Cultural shifts in Murica usually come to Europe after about 10 years, so theoretically the Trannies here could be prepared once that happens but they will all be as surprised as ever once they have to eat shit
