Seemingly the only difference between these three letter agencies are there names. FBI will do foreign spying, CIA will do Domestic spying. USAID (I know five letters) funds NGOs which in turn fund PACs which in turn funds politicians. It was this horrible totalitarian system right under everyone's nose.

i don't generally bother highlighting comments that bring up the Great Boomer Tantrum of '21 because they're low-hanging fruit, but this comment from /u/mikan28 is insightful for bringing up the point that J6ers aren't the *only* Trump supporters who violate the constitution; many of the MAGAts are also flagrantly disregarding the Constitution's mandatory Covid vaccine amendment.

Agreeable_jelly_7372 has found what appears to be a critical flaw in our nation's armed forces - they swear an oath to the president, not the constitution! This is dire because it means if the president orders them to carry out a Holocaust they'll have no choice but to obey them since our nation's servicemen and servicewomen all lack the intelligence to do anything other than perform their duties in the most literal way possible. If only we had noticed this three weeks ago it could've been patched out in time to save democracy!

This entire extended thread is a goldmine of glowie hypocrisy and I've barely scratched the surface. I could easily spend all day reposting these lunatics, unfortunately the longer I spend here the more apparent my own hypocrisy becomes as I'm supposed to be getting work done at my non-fed job right now. Also I'm pretty sure at least half of these people are LLMs, i refuse to believe that glowies are this retarded.

remind me of when I spent 5 months building this building for the government everyone including the loneliest labor was being paid $60 an hour.
and this was a material plus job so basically every single company involved in that we were literally just built to get for all of it that way it was worlds which was fine by me half the day I left the site went down to the local boy and play darts.
I don't even particularly like hanging out at bars or playing darts.

you know what's the thing everyone said we did a great job and got the thing done fast and they thought I'd get done I'm like holy shit the government loves wasting money

While technically open to anyone who wants to apply, these fed jobs are a whole other level of nepotism. You gotta go to the right schools, and usually the ones who get the jobs have family members or friends who are in already.

There are entire families where father had some sweet fed gigs and the son and cousins of course also are feds.

Thanks to their union and dem administrations it’s an extremely sweet gig, where you’re basically set for life no matter how you perform.
