Well I have very little experience here but I imagine if you're not trying to milk a hospice story out of it and you have family willing to take you in, you go home.

If someone's needs are too acute for a skilled nursing facility, but they're stable and clearly going to need this level of care for an extended time, there's the LTACH/LTAC option: long-term acute care hospitals, but the plan is still to eventually discharge. This would be something like healing from an extensive burn that needs frequent and complicated dressing changes, weaning a vent, recovering from something else while happening to be vent-dependent at baseline.

Not sure if we've ever seen a munchie at a LTACH. Maybe it's because they like to cause crises, especially if there's a threat of being discharged, so even if the hospital bought their act they wouldn't ever think they were stable enough and reliably on the mend to go to a LTACH. Probably also the love of mystery illnesses that don't have an obvious healing pathway.

If someone can't discharge to a SNF or LTC because the ones in town can't handle a vent, discharge planners start calling around to the rest of the state. If the nearest place that can take you is 200 miles away, well, they can still take you. Sometimes that vent farm bed opening up across the state is what makes the family reassess whether they want to learn how to care for the patient at home after all.

There are more antibiotics in the family, like levofloxacin and moxifloxacin. Guessing there's a threshold where your rare condition is too rare, so this is better than kicking the people with Levaquin problems out of the Cipro problems Facebook group.

@Kate Farms Shill i don’t know if you’ve ever read it but there’s a book called ‘sanity, madness and the family.’ It’s by a guy called R D Laing. He was an odd one and possibly rather unpleasant, he was involved with the Tavistock, but anyway the book is basically verbatim interviews with female schizophrenia patients and their families. As you read the interviews you can see how their families have literally driven them mad, how they drive the illness and how they have weird dynamics. Reading about Tilly made me think of the book. yes orginally i was invited to her funeral (by her mother) i was told no one from the internet was allowed (exact saying from her mother) i have a hunch her mom was the one that convenced her to take away socail media from me. rose signed into all 5 of her email accounts on my phone and computer and signed into all her social media on my phone and computer. that lasted for like a week (i did almost nothing with any of it and if i remeber right she even stated in a few ticktak live videos that i would have control and be managinig it) well anway the 4th day we are hospice center i get emails in her account saying a new device is trying to sign in (this was while her mom was in the room and i had left to give them alone time) then next thing i know all her emails say session expierd (aka token is expired for the password) and to re sign in) i went and asked her and she told me that she wanted her mom to have access to her social media and NOT ME. i was very upset by that move and hurt becouse when her mom was taking me from the hospital to her hospice center i told mom yah i have access to all her social media and her mom was like better you then us cuzz we would just deleate it and leave it be where is me (i would not post anything new on there but would leave it as and just reply to the occiasooanl comment) i mean she did document 4 years of her life and how she progressed in that 4 years. im all for preservation of media and content

she told me stories about blaze that he would beat her and ask her for money and other things like that (i mentioned these things to her mom and her mom was like i dont think the getting beat was true but the giving him money all the time was true) she would give him 2k a week for helping her and somehow this money was never there or was gone. she paid his rent a few times and even let him move into her apartment so im not too sure why she stopped dating him)

no i made that script to read my self (i was trying to address things here (i knew you guys would watch the video) and i was also trying to address her followers all in one video. i know there is a comment that i seamed under the influance of something at the time of that video i made that video not 2 hours after finding out she had died and it was still so sureal to me like it did not even happen. she told me on december 20th (i think) that she was choosing to pass away so december 21st i went to the hospital and stayed with her. she was on vent and oxygen and other stuff all to december 27th december 27th she went into hospice and she was still on her portable vent the hospice staff did not want her with the vent i stepped up and told them i would manage it myself and they did not need ot worry. so they then let it slide. im beyond pissed of at her and her parents cuzz right after the marrage she asked to go to bed and then she asked me to turn off her vent and disconnect her (which i did) and i cried after doing that and told her i loved her. i did NOT SLEEP FOR 2 DAYS i was constently checking up on her every 30 minutes to an hour i was checking to see if she had a pulse still. it was not until the 29th that i was told that she could be with out the vent. (her mom acted like she knew and that this was to be expected well thank you for fucking not telling me since im up all damn night not sleeping worrying about her ass woundering if shes gonna pass away with me asleep i was pissed off at that. i left december 31st from hospice to go back home to my host home (my host home / team of careers gave me 3 weeks to be with her. and given her state we was not sure how long she would have to live. the people i was living with told me they was going out of town from the 1st to the 4th. so i said come pick me up on the 31st which they did. after the 31st i was just getting updatres from her mom
