I'm fairly certain when Ook isn't streaming he just lurks Reddit for any mentions of him or Monkestation like a pathetic weirdo. He will respond to most mentions of him or his server on Reddit within a day, even if its not tagging him directly.
TBH the whole Monke community is weird as fuck. It's like they heard what Fulp was like and did it even worse. I'm convinced that Monke jannies are actually the ones in charge and they just manipulate Ook into doing whatever they want. The admins will constantly spam music and get bitchy when the curator job, a job that has a radio they can DJ as part of the role, wants to play something different. Beyond just the normal jannie mindset PJB reads absolutely everything anyone writes about him anywhere and is extremely frustrated he doesn't have total control over it. It's extremely apparent this is slowly driving him insane. He used to be able to at least engage with others, now he only talks in Space Station 14's gated "estrogen VC" and on his Mastodon that never gets any engagement besides people occasionally checking to see which revealing information he wants to tell the internet about. His rhetorical strategy has regressed to repeating manifestations like "None of this is true" and "You don't need to listen to what anyone but me says" and "We don't need to post evidence anymore because bad faith chuds will just ignore it and everyone else knows I'm objectively right." It's going beyond the effect where yes men make a leader make bad decisions; instead of yes men we have trans 15 year olds with no relevant skills beyond telling PJB anything he wants to hear, no matter how obviously wrong or insane, forming the core of his counsel.
Also, he spends basically his entire waking life semi AFK in estrogen VC and has no job and lives at home. Nothing really to tether him to reality I'd guess.
Interestingly he did actually get engagement from this post, and the responder besides being an inactive old SS14 project manager who wrote e.g. instruments, was involved in the NixOS controversy earlier this year IIRC.

This entire thing really is a literal T4T polycule. It seems more notable now that PJB is like the only one left who has somehow not managed to get a T4T e-girlfriend? The T4T stuff is such an interesting part of the online trans dynamic I have seen literally nobody ever talk about. I browsed the follow lists of PJB and Vera real quick looking for anyone else I recognized and I noticed literally zero cis women in 200 or so people. Some of these, uh, women spend literally all their time interacting with other, uh, women on the internet, and consider themselves "preferring the company of women," "having female socialization" etc but they literally never interact with cis women besides their mom. That's significantly stranger than most other things about this phenomenon.

There's something very weird with SS14 that I have not seen elsewhere. All of them, despite their entire online schtick being how trans they are, have not transitioned in real life. Okay, that's not that unusual. I'm not confused yet, that would require #effort. Then they all continue to use male names on all their profiles. Uhhh... You're a trans woman named Pieter? You can't take 30 seconds to update your Github?
I know 6 of their names which they freely give in linked profiles and zero of their preferred female names. What the fuck is going on? I have never seen anything like it.

It makes perfect sense.
As someone with a legit PHD in trannology and internet Blanchardism, I will explain.
These are autistic AGP trannies, they nut to the idea of being a woman and are attracted to women, which differentiates them from the HSTS tranny that just wants to fuck men and makes an effort to pass early so they don't get beat up when the dude discovers the surprise hot dog. The autism, which is comorbid with AGPs, is an extra factor, contributing to the lack of self awareness.
SS13 provides the best opportunity for them to explore their "gender euphoria" through their femstatics while pretty much neglecting "irl womanhood" beyond the typical HRT prescription growing long and greasy locks. In other words, they're getting their tranny drug hit from SS13. It's a form of escapism, since it's almost completely based in fetish and a desire to escape the beta male living experience. They often seek to just grow breasts and long hair for masturbation purposes, they rarely focus on anything that will make them vaguely pass like actually getting voice or facial feminization surgery.
These things aren't out of their reach by the way, since many of them are software engineers and firmly in the middle to upper middle class.
They also work in very autistic masculine fields like programming where being an actual woman will ick employers out unless they're looking for cheap low-paid DEI hires - so they like to "boymode" to get the best jobs. They work professionally as men, usually they'll try to get into the field of choice and then troon out on their employer later who will have no choice but to accept their she/her pronouns or face a lawsuit. Some don't transition at all irl, since larping on the internet satisfies their fetish adequately.
A lot of these specific types of SS13 devs also tend to put SS13 on their resumes and GitHub professional pages - /tg/ devs are notorious for this. This is partially what has contributed to the taming and SJW'ing of SS13 codebases, to avoid any controversies when it comes to their professional experience.

Would it be an issue if I was to stream a couple of rounds some weekend eventually? I an aware people would likely try to mess with me and possibly (hopefully not) the server as a whole, and I will refrain if either admin or everyone collectively objects.

Why the fuck would you put ss13 on your resume? Unless you re-wrote the master controller like MSO or atmos (LINDA) to be efficent the codebase is a so spagetti I'd immediately fire the HR retard who brought their resume past the first round (and this is coming from someone completely not in IT).
That's like putting libreoffice or GNOME in your resume, except libreoffice actually functions most of the time.

I used to do shit for SS14, mostly DeltaV before I sought well needed therapy. I was fucked up a while ago, but have since gotten considerably better. I have the relatively complete timeline of what EE (Einstein Engines) was born from, the other reason PJB is so bitter towards them, and my own personal experience with the project and her denizens.
(I stumbled across this thread and website not too long ago, and thought I’d share my own side of things. Sorry if this all sounds retarded but I just wanted to get this out of my head.)
I’m not proud of the shit I used to say and do or the company I kept, but I’ve moved past that part of myself. Life was difficult (as difficult as a post-rona world can be), and I drifted into whatever community would take me. I found some sort of fulfillment making things for SS14, but ultimately after hitting the gym and getting therapy, I look back with disdain at the things I used to say and believe in. Curious how that works, isn’t it? But enough autofellatio, this isn’t a post about me. When I remove the rose tinted glasses I see just how hostile everything really was. Here’s something interesting that puts a mirror to the current situation;
Did you know that the fork of nyano Delta-V had their entire database in a stranglehold by one dev? (Nice security.) The entire codebase, the repo, all at risk by a single person. They were the only one that knew how to manage the server’s shit, and had the keys to the castle, in essence.
To put it bluntly, not a single member of staff nor community member had any sort of respect for “dev” (Reason for pseudonym near the bottom of this post). They were just an unpleasant person to even be in the same galaxy as. This is where the other staff (mods, jannies, etc etc.) came back with an ultimatum after taking the shit dev kept spraying for ages. They were sick of how much of a burden it was to deal with dev, and essentially said: “We are tired of having to deal with this fuck berating us and acting superior, fire him or we quit.”
You’re probably wondering, though, why hold the code at a strangle? Is it just standard bathtub estrogen psychosis again?
Nah, dev just didn’t like that people disliked unpopular changes pushed by force and couldn’t handle the heat. People complained a fuckload, to clarify, but what do you expect when you shove a change through the door? Although they were also a troon, so take of that what you will. (Shitty behavior + Troon seems to be a pattern, doesn’t it?)
Here’s the kicker, though; the owner, BasedPugilist, didn’t fire them due to the fact they were close friends in real life. Besides being incompetent at any actual logistics related to owning the server (moreso being a passive observer when he bothered to do so), BP admits himself that his own inaction was the reason for everything that happened.
Ultimately, half the staff left, and BP finally fired dev. (dev moreso crashed out publicly and then told everyone to go fuck themselves while saying there would be no more updates and the project could die with his absence.) Considering the repeated struggles of DetaV, it’s not very surprising that nobody wants to touch it. That, and all the weird shit from a while back with the borderline pedophilic atrocity.
If you really think about it, that sounds sorta similar to what’s happening now, no? Albeit not at the same level, but still eerily similar in the core aspects. Inactive owner, asshole in high position, staff resignation, and the fallout.
This all happened a while ago, and with delta’s staff exodus (including artists, coders… etc.) a guy named VMsolidus- who you might’ve seen PJB scratching at the asylum walls to talk to -joined together with some others to found EE. VM was a major contributor to DeltaV, doing actual cooode work.
This new branch was more than likely due to him getting sick of being treated like shit by dev, and was most definitely sparked by a big argument dev and him had. What happened in this argument is something only God knows, but it must’ve been something awful to cause VM to hop ship.
VM quit the same day, from what I remember. Interestingly, around 9 months after the staff exodus of deltav, we get the more recent news;
BP had decency to admit he had fucked up, albeit too little too late given the circumstances and aftermath. However, PJB saw the warning signs and didn’t bother to even try and take any sort of responsibility. “I’m the victim here!” “This is all your fault!” It shows with lashing out at anyone who could even possibly be associated with EE, even servers they’re friendly with or completely unrelated people that are just not ran by wizden:
To me, I feel the crackdown is a result of multiple things coming to a head. A worn out team (who wanted to avoid the politics associated with the codebase by being “the better upstream” and ironically enough finding even more drama) receives blanket punishment (mass dehubbing) because, who would’ve guessed, wizden don’t seem to treat pedo freaks with the same urgency as banning those who actually try to do something about it or god forbid break rules about characters in a video game.
To add a bitter footnote to this, you’ve likely noticed the “dev” in particular I keep mentioning is unnamed here. They were the host, or head maintainer of DeltaV. This anonymity is due to the fact that soon after all of this took place earlier last year, they killed themselves. It’s an open secret amongst the staff, but scarcely talked about. Those who seek it will know who they are, but I can’t in good conscience share more direct info unless people really want to see it. That’s why this whole thing has been pretty light on images, most of the context involves dev, and for whatever reason I can’t bring myself to post them. Maybe it’s just some lingering tension, or maybe I’m just a pussy. Either way…

The final straw was most likely the ultimatum and realization of how fucked this project continues to be.
