So I have been non-binary for quite some time now, I dress femininely whenever I feel comfortable in my setting enough to do so, and honesty I might start micro dosing on E sometime in the near future, currently it's sitting on my desk testing me, but because of my family's views and the fact that I'm not out to anyone other than my parents and my cousin (family wise, we all pretty much live in the same yard), I haven't started that process yet.

I've noticed something in my time in this community though, personally, the only people who have given me the "time of day" are chasers, and that's just a manipulation tactic; there's a few people I was interested in recently but they either found me unattractive or they weren't about trans people, I also always see posts of people turning down others solely for being trans. Which is understandable, they're straight or trans people aren't their type, yadda yadda yadda whatever 6 million reasons that anybody can understandably have for anybody.

Idk I just feel like the moment they learn I'm under the trans umbrella, everyone and their brother rules me out as a possibility. Or worst, they're a chaser and they think I'm vulnerable enough to sexualize.

I so far had more chasers go after me than actual confessions... ig I can take this to mean I'm at least attractive lmfao

In all seriousness, for the most part, a lot of them come across like a bunch of uppity faggots for the sake of being the most educated of the bunch. That’s where you can see the their true maturity. Academics are great but that doesn’t make you a great teacher, couple it with unchecked ego and now you just look like a fucking prick.

One of my modern Internet woes is how overly verbose everything has gotten. Mainly thanks to Reddit and Twitter pre-Elon. Everything is just semantics with these retards.

Yeah. When I was researching the difference between gender and sex I just got more confused. They both are fake binaries (unless you want a specific functional definition of sex which then excludes many people of that sex).

Sex and gender are both determined by a number of factors, which don't always agree, placing people along a spectrum, and their position on that spectrum can depend greatly on how someone weights different factors in making their determination. Then as a society, we pretend those two spectrums map to a single binary. It's completely insane make believe.

I no longer can even say I'm trans because I don't know what sex i am. You don't know what sex you are, probably. That said, in the insane make believe, I'm happier as a girl. Whether that's because of some inherent mismatch between this and that or just because skirt go spinny and lipstick/mascara is pretty, I no longer care.

I’m a man because that’s the way I was born and how my mind and body work. I also recognise that I would unavoidably be using different language to describe this same innate feeling if I didn’t live in a culture where the idea of ‘man’ exists.

Then there is this argument they always use; "My mind and my body agree with me, now excuse me while I shove testosterone down my throat because my "male body" doesn't naturally produce it".

Some people think that everything should be preserved but the amount of fucking garbage written about these topics for something that can be easily answered in the morning when you take a shower is almost depressing to me. I would glady put it all in a single building and then burn it down.

They take the concept of ‘categories are human-assigned based on usefulness to humanity’ and forget that even if they go 6 million km into the weeds and minutiae to confuse the criteria and where they land in it, all that doesn’t matter if joe and jane public go with their gut and say ‘nah I’m right’

This. I used to belong to an online makeup community (until troons came in and ruined it) and a bunch of members grew up in strict religious families and weren't allowed to wear makeup, and had gotten into it in adulthood.
