This has been happening for two decades. Bots, aka 'The dead internet theory' is real.
Back in the early 2000's there were companies who were paid to remove bots and bot farms from the internet, banning accounts and IPs en masse. Even back then (according to the documentary I saw) they were banning millions of accounts per day. Millions, even before the normie-influx.

Social media is built on bots, fake clicks and AI accounts. Hell, most journalists and people in news stories aren't real. Google/instagram/Facebook their names and you get 0 search returns. The whole thing is a scam.
 
Isn't this the nut that they had to cut to commercial on when she was on The View because she started sperging about how hot rape was?

Just a reminder to all that before Elon was forced to buy Twitter, he wanted to back out because he claimed a significant percentage of Twatter users were bots.

Twitter admitted to 5-15% were bots. Musk was worried 90%+ were bots. Either way, it's a load of bots used to sway public opinion.
It was a cushy thing that twitter employees had;

use company money to buy bots
bots bring more money in to buy more bots
Siphon money off of the top
Use money to live a lavish life on a high wage.

The musk ruined it. I'd hate him too tbf.

Well, they kicked out the Shah, got the Ayatollahs, held US diplomats hostage (not even the US has ever done something as batshit crazy like that), and an 8-year corpse grinder war, so they really have no one to blame but themselves.
