I'm pretty shocked that they aren't jumping on this whole Elon thing. There's a bunch of seething to be harvested from every side; it would be an easy 3 hours of content just scrolling through everything.

Elon is fully submerged in the "Lolcow Quicksand Paradox," whereas the more he tries to be seen as cool, or be taken seriously, the more milk he produces. Point being, this is a wellspring of comedy ready to be harvested for any shrewd comedian looking to make hay while the sun shines.

I think we, as Americans, need to have a deep and involved conversation about the economic effects of outsourcing our e-daddies and not keeping our paypigging in domestic markets, Canadian e-daddies are hurting the budget of the average American household and we can't just sit idly by in apathy.

Am I the only one that gets annoyed when PPP says something like "Trump bros WE won" when talking about American Politics? I get its part grift, but Canacucks didn't win shit last election. I hate when non-Americans obsess over American Politics in general like it matters as much to them. At least just admit you wanna screech about it like sports and not because you actually give a shit about another country you don't live in or plan to live in. It's like a minion or something that only can view things in the concept of their master winning, it feels weird.

I feel like PPP has been getting more disconnected from reality over time anyways. It's like he wants to do WWE style monologues over real events and it just makes him sound unhinged for being so invested in politics and lolcows. Kayfabe is all well and good until you actually start to believe yourself. He would legitimately be better as a pastor because he obviously loves to hear himself do his WWE/preacher voice and ramble on about his opinions to a captive audience. At the very least he would contribute to society and be a part of a real community.

As a Canadian, I can say without any doubt that American politics affects Canada more than Canadian politics does. Trump getting in absolutely was a huge win for Canada since the reason Trudeau was able to fuck us so hard over the past few years is directly because of Biden's presidency and his total incompetency. A great quote regarding this (who I forget was attributed to) goes as follows: "The United States and Canada are like an elephant and a mouse sleeping together; the elephant may mean no harm, but the mouse can't help but feel every grunt and twitch".

If you need proof of how much American politics affects Canada: Trump nearly crashed the Canadian economy and caused all of Trudeau's most valuable cabinet members to ditch him within a days span by simply considering a 25% tariff before he even has the power to put it in place, and this has domino'd since into what is almost certainly then end of Trudeau's reign.
