Christian Wagner is still making response videos to Jimmy Akin. It's retarded. Apparantly (based off what Gropers told me) Wagner's claim is Akin took Wagner out of context. Which is a claim that Akin is being vindictive. And that somehow Wagner made these videos with Akin's face on them and was not saying Akin denies Mary's immaculate conception and that Wagner is right that the immaculate conception is dogma and all of Catholic theologians are wrong that it is not. And that somehow Wagner is right that Ineffablius Deus dogmatized the Immaculate Conception and subsequent popes stating that it did not are wrong.

Yes, Fuentes had an armed person show up at his door, but until we get a seperate thread on these three year old Fuentes Catholics thinking they are a genius doctors of the Church, I'm going to have to derail the thread for a second on it.

The issue is that Akin is that said given good justification someone might be able to question Mary's sinlessness since it is not a infallible teaching and be a Catholic in good standing, Wagner argues that both a ecumenical council and popes have infallibly declared it. They claimed it's Akin's personal opinion, but Akin's personal opinion is that she is sinless, he was merely saying as a Catholic Apologist it is a option available to others. Akin didn't mention the immaculate conception. Akin did say it's interesting he's being targeted by someone who only converted in 2021, and he mentioned Wagner said Wagner is autistic in some comments referencing Wagner struggling to make eye contact with the camera. Akin went through the sources Wagner cited and argued why they're incorrect.

Wagner complained on twitter originally that Akin's response probably wasn't worth responding to and said he was busy helping his family and only watched 10 minutes of Akin's video.
