I've been running around in ZZZ trying to get stuck with the character selection and found a funny goof
lucy-collision.mp4
Lucy has a much wider collision box than other characters for no reason
Maybe it's because of her boars? Try that with Rina.

Also, I managed to get Miyabi with the free polys. I don't know if I'm gonna roll for weapons because I want Astra Yao.

Specters being tanky was a very stupid choicecompared tothe othrs. They're meant to be small little swarm enemies and they ended up becoming more of a bitch to fight than the actual samurai because they just would not die.
I never understood that butthurt tbh, and I say that as someone who does farming in unoptimized, random ass teams for the exp. the few seconds it took longer really were no big deal, their main issue were trolling movesets fucking over melee (most players rage when enemies fly up, should've brought a bow char noob) and that they were claimed to be elemental shit but than unlike slimes had no inherent element, so no reactions. almost every inazuma char needing their drops while only dropping 1 grey usually (something they only fixed recently) was worse.

37 pulls. THIRTY-FUCKING-SEVEN and I got fuck all. Hoyo fucking hates me
just buy more pulls bro :feels:

Half the reason they were so tanky was hydro specter healing 40% aoe while being immune to stagger (the splash would come out even while frozen and "resurrect" itself since the death animation didnt play while frozen).

Something even dumber: They were immune to pull despite being ghost air baloons, so abyss just spread them around you and kazuha couldn't do shit. It took until 2.8 to hard nerf them btw.

New QoL features coming next version in genshin:
  • Bosses instantly respawn (except the wolf because he smells bad), no longer need to leave
  • Artifact recommendations will now highlight the stats that make them recommended over others, and sorting will put them higher up in the list
  • You can hold up to 2100 artifacts
That's it, no loadouts you fucking weirdos. Just grind more.

They'll also allow world 8 players to join world 9 players which is really good for coop matchmaking.

The fact hoyo would rather add another 30th way to sort artifacts makes me think we'll never get loadouts, people already clap to those anyway.

Livestream on friday btw

Leakers said it will be mavuika/citlali +arlechino/clorinde but a lantern rite without lyue units sound unlikely. A chronicled wish could happen but i think that was a fluke and won't ever happen again (rip my rolls).

Is it just me, or is ZZZ significantly more generous with the pull currency than Genshin?
Nah you're right. I think between the three main MHY games people here play, ZZZ is pretty generous. Then HSR, then Genshin.

If someone wants to fit in Impact 3rd and that other game (Tears of Thermis?), do feel free to correct me.

afaik ZZZ numbers are bad, generosity is one way to hold players/get them back. that's why you won't see it in genshin till it has hit a low point (which also dropped quite a bit in numbers I think).

Whaled on the cheap version of the Batlepass and got Kaveh and Heizou. Huh.

At the very least I got a full Dendro and Ameno team for zero reason in particular other than "thematics" and the domains that require mono teams.

Edit: Sumeru really loves making you use archers. I should really invest more stock into Fischl given the mushroom people world queest. And Collei, given the totems that require a ranged Dendro.

Thing is even with bow characters they would not fucking die. it's not a big deal but it's still a stupid decision to make the random tiny disposable enemies that spawn in everywhere take longer to actually fucking kill than the enemies that can actually do any significant damage to you. I got similar gripes about how indwelling saurians is useless for even gimmicky combat right now despite them having a designated attack button, and there's several locations where they spawn clearly incentivized so you indwell them and fight the enemy instead of using normal characters. I still do it because it's fun tot ry out but it's a pain in the fucking ass doing piddly ass nothing damage unless you're the green NOT YOSHI one that can suck up explosive fruits and nuke people with them in like 1 or 2 hits. I'd be dissapointed with that being so quick if it weren't for the fact of how funny a visual it is seeing the enemy npcs just get sidelined and fly into the air.

it's very much worth investing in her regardless, especially if you have her c6. she's consistently been a strong character since launch, even back before dendro was introduced and electro was considered a garbage element. she's not quite bennett/xiangling/xingqiu tier but she's close.

*laughs in yoimiya*

I assume that saurian indwelling is for new players who don't have the teams or artifacts yet, they can also not be too strong otherwise whales will piss their pants their "investment" is overshadowed...

if when physical gets buffed machine gun fischl will rise again!

I don't give a shit about "investments" as I am no whale and play to have actual fun. Saurians don't feel like they're for "new players"IMO, mote like they're just the "reigon specific gimmick" like fontaine's swimming. It even has the ability slot stuff like fontaine when you grab the various sealife. I've stated my gripes with how whales barely even playing the actual game and then whine about being"taken advantage of" later before and I still stand by my thoughts on that cycle in general. The "meta" whale technically play the game but only abyss and treat that as like the whole game when it's literally just one of several occasionally refreshing challenge modes.

Like I said already, the saurian stuff is fun, just wish they hit a little bit harder sometimes given you're clearly incentivized to use them over the designated characters in some areas.

I finally ended up getting a full constellation on fischl which is great because she's like one of the only bow characters I end up using a lot.

Was the wargame event made intentionally boring so people skip the primos? There's like 5 dialogue boxes explaining the rules before you even get to the game screen
