I didn't watch the Phil stuff, but how did Phil handle himself on the KC? Does he even remotely deserve this?
 
Phil was always a contingency piece for the casino.

On a content drought they can bring him on to try and gain some viewership even though it's just the same old Phil. Or they can snake him over time and gain some traction. Either way they don't really lose much outside of what little respect a few people may have had for them. Phil is an old timer but he doesn't have the numbers or draw anymore to do any damage to them sadly.

When it comes down to either one I'd root for DSP over these bums anyday. The fact that they would bother to throw him under the bus and not just leave him be really makes me hate them more than I did already.
