Hey Louis. I read your last post in its entirety, including the linked posts, and I am a somewhat concerned. It may be the autism puzzle pieces incrusted in my brain, but your other posts are usually very well written in regards to grammar and structure. But from section a) to section cii), where you talk about the death of the CEO and how it relates to yourself, it seems more like an impassionate and rushed statement. Something that makes it seem a bit paranoid and frustrated. Again, this may just be my 'tism making a molehill out of nothing. But I hope you are alright mentally. Don't let the misery merchants get the better of you. The type of people that baselessly cry harassment of any type are misery merchants and they will never achieve happiness in their life. They need to be outraged about something at all times.

This sentiment is sadly something that has been lost by a lot people. I have seen people treat retail employees like they are subhuman garbage who need to be spat on. I have seen people go into a manic episode over a perceived slight against them. I have seen people disowning their families and abandoning friends over politics. People nowadays are radicalized towards extremes on different issues and can't see beyond them. Something that leads to echo chambers. This mostly happens on heavily moderated social media platforms, mostly Reddit, because dissenting opinions get outright deleted and will get you banned. That's why I like this forum way more than other social media. The admin, Null (This guy -> :null:), tends to be hands-off with banning people or deleting posts that don't break the simple rules. That's why in the Apple subreddit you'll find nothing but bootlickers for the brand. But here you can find people both for and against the topic discussed in the thread. Hell, I can have good civil discussions on videogames with a schizophrenic or political extremist here than I can with "normal" people on other social media.

A little bit of history for this one. There have been a lot of trans people that have interacted with the farms. You might be surprised to know that in the early days the forum was pretty accepting of trans people. I can't for the life of me remember the name, but there used to be this weirdo who would dance around with fake tits and drew a bizarre webcomic the forum would interact with and people generally liked and enjoyed talking with her. When Chris-Chan trooned out most of the forum just shrugged and went on to make fun of the silly shit Chris did. Speaking of Chris Chan, the first sysop of the cwcki, Cogsdev, was a tranny. The first person to archive Chris' videos went under the name Lady Cam and was also a tranny. If you look at right wing critics of the forum you'll find a lot of them still mention that the site is infected with, "tranny jannies".

This new trans movement is something different. They want to censor speech, they want to take peoples ability to interact with the financial system and they would be really happy to dox every single person here so they can get them fired from their job. Someone like Keffals or Liz Fong Jones would be overjoyed to find out who I was and see me put in front of a firing squad for pointing out that they're just weird ugly men at the end of the day. These people at their zenith were able to get major news outlets to outright lie about the people who use this forum, coloring them as terrorists that murder people through their mean words.

Every trans person that the forum has had to deal with in the past few years has been incredibly malicious, hostile, & completely unwilling to accept that I can type words in a text box. We have in turn provided the same treatment to them.

Louis, I really appreciate your optimism here and I wish I had it, but as a semi literate tech person myself when it comes to the tech industry, this kind of attitude is going to get you buried. At some point we have to accept that the era of the bedroom coder and the ingenious tech autist is over and was destroyed by change nearly 10 years ago. There's no use being a frontiersman after civilization has invaded, I wouldn't call the modern tech industry civilized but I hope you get what I mean. You can be an idealistic off-grid person, that's a perfectly viable alternative, satisfactory even, but you're not going to cause the change you desire. The tech industry is breaking down, we are reaching the end of a big paradigm as Moore's law is pushed to its plausible limit and the powers that be have traded freedom for security and profit. Most tech today is purposefully blackboxed and education is becoming a pipeline to industry instead of enlightenment, people are going to increasingly become tech illiterate and it's only going to continue. No amount of screeching from people like you or I is going to cause significant change, people maybe helped but the system is not going to change. I wouldn't say don't do what you're doing, alternative education is definitely good but you are fighting against the tide and some day you are going to drown while your efforts will have evaporated. Hope you're aware of that. Sorry if I sound incredibly dour but it is what it is, it's better to accept it. Nobody is going to dislike you because of your efforts. When it comes to the judgement of people of certain persuasions, they're finding reasons to hate you, it's manufactured hatred it's not genuine. You'll be okay man. You seem to be a bit too disturbed and depressed, do get some help if that's the case, hope things turn out okay for you.

I think he's seeing the general derision due to this as the uniform treatment of trannies online as well as IRL.
Though I'd probably cite Null's take in response to iDubbz's radicalization as the point of agreement.
People who are personally derided here are people who are either blatant in their instantaneously documented behavior, or have demonstrated a notable pattern of behavior that warrants the treatment.
Even Null has said, though rarely because of the nature by which trannies come up in conversation, he wouldn't chimp out like a nigger if a tranny approached him to engage in normal conversation.
Which then doubly comes to where we all agree these are not women, they should not be treated like women.
There is no interest in deriding trannies that manage to be normal people.
The problem then lies in that we are bringing in the slimmest percentages of percentages of people who in the end still subscribe to an ideology that is shown to be time and again morally bankrupt.
It is in this case, mutually exclusive. You can't be a tranny in this day and age and have a leg to stand on. And thus the ideology is derided. It's rabid following is derided. The "civilized" tranny is then left to either radicalize or cede the argument.

When you're right, you're right. Easier said than done. Imagine getting introduced to that by a date that is giggly about having googled you. But you're right.

I have a theory that the reason my brain does this is because five or ten thousand years ago, you had small tribes of five to forty people, and if a few people in that tribe talked shit about you, you were excluded from hunting, gathering, and probably got killed. I don't think our brain evolved for having tribes or inner friend/neighbor circles of more than 40 people. I see 100 people piling on, hoping for my failure after going on a date with someone who reads it to me after smirking saying they googled me..????

The part of my brain that understands proportions goes out the window. That's not 0.00001% of the people that have engaged with what I say or do. That's 100 people.

But yeah, good advice. Easier said than done, though. Thank you.

There are the occasional people that try to go a little too far that have actually followed me(I don't mean on Twitter). For times like those, I'm happy that I'm located in Texas.

Think of it this way, if you are not controlling your thoughts and mood, it means that someone else is.

Regarding your legacy, and the lack thereof that you perceive, I believe that you got your heart in the right place, and that you have a great work ethic, but when it comes to right to repair, from what I have seen in the news, in reports, and what you have said on your channel about your work, I am convinced that you are attacking a symptom rather than a cause. It is super hard to fix a problem with this approach.

But what incentive is there for long-term growth?

With this legal and regulatory uncertainty, long-term strategies become inherently less attractive relative to short-term strategies. And you see that all over the place, not just in repair.

Film studios and game publishers buying IP (itself a complete government-enforced fiction) and shitting out the stinkiest turds because, hey, we want to make some cash now, who knows what crazy bullshit the government comes up with tomorrow, screw the future, screw the legacy, screw the reputational damage and loss of customer trust. Hardware companies being in bed with government intelligence agencies and abusing systems to preserve their formerly earned market share.

People always respond to incentives, and, as shitty as it sounds, as long as the state exists, these issues will come sooner or later. Some "right to repair bill" will have exceptions or unequal enforcement or a plainly ridiculous lack of consequences, and there is nothing you can do about it but to work towards a freer society.

The good news is that systems that are doomed to fail will always end up failing. The bad news is that it's not going to be pretty. But you can stay optimistic in the long term.

I think you've accepted somebody else's view of what this site is and are projecting your beliefs on to that and now addressing something that isn't even happening. Of course I can only speak for myself, but I don't take out my general hatred of the tranny movement on random passerbys who don't pass nor the trannies I've had to deal with in my personal and professional life.

I agree with you on berating the disrespectful mailman simply because he's screwing with your business by attempting to make a customer feel uncomfortable. Same as if he made a fat joke or laughed at a ginger in your store. He can talk about the "freakshow in the repair shop" with his friends at the bar later, but acting that way in the customer's presence when you're a visitor, especially while you're representing another organization, that's bad.

The issue is with the upper crust of trannies who use their position to attempt to suppress any discussion, not phrases like "Total Tranny Death". They're attempting to suppress discussion about the ways they enrich themselves through fraud and their desire to abuse children. The attacks have been non-stop since users on the forum published evidence of fraud at Trans Lifeline, and the intensity grows as more fraud and abuse is uncovered.

Perhaps then the easiest thing a tranny on the receiving end of this scrutiny can do is convince everyone that the website is nothing but a band of bigots running around screaming like children. Thus people are convinced simply opening the site will expose them to something evil and never see the posts about embezzling of charitable funds, grooming of minors and the disastrous results of sexual reassignment surgery from doctors scamming patients.

The model in your head doesn't match reality as it's built upon lies from the same sort of people who slander you for their own personal gain. Whoever told you these things likely isn't a bad person, they're just repeating something they heard elsewhere without critical thought. Thus I hope you do at least give this place a chance rather than writing it off as a place to share thoughts with if only to attempt to sway its users away from perceived wrongthink.
