I agree with you that a lot of people go along with troonery to avoid social repercussions.
However, in talking with people over the years I can confidently say that a lot of people are misinformed. I’ve seen famous right-wing self-proclaimed fascists conceded the “intersex argument” to the trannies. I kept hearing ASAP Science parroting the “we all start female” myth, etc. Even the Grand Sneeder himself pitied that Pad Gardner creep, even though he was a textbook anatomic autogynephile.
What I’m trying to say is that a lot of people lack scientific literacy. I always thought biology was the exception to this rule - that principles like sex and evolution were self-evident and obvious. Political upheavals have demonstrated otherwise. People really don’t understand that sex is a singular category, not an amalgamation of multiple factors or a sum you can tip over and game. They don’t understand how sex is determined in humans. They don’t understand what “chromosomes” really mean - and that’s why people who hate trannies make dumb rhetorical mistakes like argue that all women have XX chromosomes. People don’t get that karyotypes are pictures, not sequences of DNA. Especially when it comes to the non-issue of “intersexuality”, literal biologists have been thoroughly duped.
The other issue is that people (especially boomers) still think trannies in the West are all faggots like Robbie White. I remember telling a 60 something boomer man about Bongistan’s Ministry of Data’s crime statistics:

In other words, women prisoners would be safer in prisons with normal male felons (“cis” prisons) than they are with trannies.
When I explained this to that boomer, he stared at me, mouth slightly agape, speechless. He genuinely did not understand how dystopian it all had become. He legit thought it was some Always Sunny in Philadelphia skit where women were mad that men were pissing and shitting on the seats. People really don’t get it, and that’s because trannies like Lucas “Keffals” Sorrenti and Elliot “Liz” Fong Jones are so inherently evil. They deny people the opportunity to act according to their conscience.
