I’m part of a few mom groups on fb and a larger drama group and it’s a frequent topic of debate. Some normie little shitlord will post a meme and bait out all the “as a mom of a trans kid” weirdos and it’s open season! The best group is a coed group where the fellas get it on it too, they call these women pedos right to their faces lol the algorithm has figured it out for me and delivers it to me daily.

That’s a name I haven’t heard in a loooong time. I knew he said some crazy shit (back then I would have called him an “extremist” but the vast majority of them believe the same things now) but can’t remember him saying that. It’s so fucking stupid. Even from a pro-trans perspective it makes no sense, if he was always female he wouldn’t be trans at all.

One one hand, the first few I attached (and most on the profile) looks very tranny high filtered, big (unfortunate?) man hands? But the last pic is from 2014 on the mother's profile. What do we think?

Another thing I remember on that same group was a TIM having his biological sex changed on his medical records to female. He then had a letter from the NHS telling him to book an appointment for a cervical screening. He was happy because of this. Even then I thought that was dangerous because he obviously hasn’t got a cervix and that would mean he wouldn’t get letters telling him to get his prostate checked. You can’t identify yourself out of your biological sex.

I was more or less on board with a lot of it at this point as I thought no one was stupid enough to think this. I thought they realised they were simply changing their gender identity/gender expression. Oh I was wrong.

That‘s insane. Surely it should be on their records that they still require these letters even if they identify as trans men. Even if they want to be trans inclusive it should be “FTM“ in their records. So a bunch of British pooners aren't getting these letters and have convinced themselves that they’re magically male now and don’t need it. Great.

(I’m an idiot and assumed they would have changed this by now. Britain is all over the place when it comes to this)

The NHS IT systems vary between trusts, are not joined together and are, in most cases, quite old now.
These systems worked fine back in the days where sex was a universally recognised, accepted and static marker, but were designed to cope with reality, not ideology.

The sanest, and most cost effective way of dealing with this would be for all of the trusts (there are over 200 of them) to just refuse to change sex markers.

The affected trusts will be those who played around with sex markers, probably the same trusts who tried to ban the words "mother" and "breast feeding".
Amusingly, the only people impacted by these changes will be the ones who would have applauded the changes in the first place, so all good.

It might be helpful to introduce him to 'transphobic' trans people so he stops thinking all trans people think the same. For example, Buck Angel and Blair White. Also, Caitlyn Jenner and Renee Richards both came out against trans women playing women's sports.

Check out Benjamin Boyce's channel. He does a lot of interviews with detransitioners. At lease one of them should be good for your relative.
