Been busy at work and catching up via highlights, so apologies if this was asked and answered. If Nick was actually going to plea out, why would Kayla have filed such a strange document just before anything happened? It doesn't make much sense, to me at least, to say he had something else on his nose and that all he does is performance art if Nick's going to turn around and just plea guilty.

Also goddamn of course nothing happens, it always seems to just be kicking the can further down the road with these lolsuits.
 
Weird that they would delay it the day of, makes me think the courts have something planned. Maybe it has to do with the charges Aaron is no doubt bringing against the Balldo?

I see this delay as a good thing to happen as it gives the authorities more time to build a case against Baldo for the computer crimes against Aaron Imholte. What a scenario for the December settlement conference hearing to arrive, Nick is facing additional felony charges filed against him, and he is sitting in another county's jail trying to get bail.

Because Balldo isn't in complete control of everything. Despite his obvious influence in this goofy filing, he is not personally in control of everything, as much as he wants everyone to believe that.

He gets increasingly angry when his lack of absolute control gets revealed.
