My viewpoint is I don't think Amber is a pedophile, but she's someone who wouldn't protect a child from them because she has a skewed view of what is normal behavior. She actively encourages groomer behavior, whether she knows it or not, like spreading sympathy for "men who just can't help they're attracted to children, it's like being a lesbian." Telling Libby "it's not weird, you're really mature for your age!" while the next day saying "It's okay if a 35 year old gets with a 16 year old as long as the 16 year old is mature for her age."
If you're an impressionable kid hanging out with Amber, who is encouraging groomer behavior and spreading sympathy for those who "can't help who they're attracted to" and "age is just a number", it's going to fuck them up and prime them to think groomer speak is "normal" and "rational" whenever an actual pedophile comes into their life.

I still find her behavior abusive as a supportive role for groomers. She spreads the groomer speak and tries to make it normal. This is damaging for any children who listen to her views.

The only thing Amber actually said that you put in quotations is that "Libby is mature for [her] age." Amberlynn has not supported or enabled pedophiles to my knowledge.

Really? That's the only thing Amber actually said that I put into quotations? I'll grab the screenshot of her saying that "age is just a number" and defending teenagers dating someone 30 once I find it. It was an ask she got where someone was complaining about people not having a problem with older people with a 20 year age gap dating but having issues with a teenager dating someone with the same age gap. I'm not sure why you're defending Amber so hard about this.
I mean, I understand if this is because you don't like that people are calling Amber a pedophile when she's not. I get that. But we're talking about the creepy and gross things she's said even if she isn't a full blown pedo.

Quite the opposite. The longer she is with Emily the more jealous she will become of the daughter. If anything forces Emily to kick lard arse to the curb, it may very well be her need to be more important than the child.

I absolutely agree with this, Amber is both possessive and incredibly jealous. Amber hated that Becky was spending time with Eric and even her family. Emily will want to do activities with her daughter, such as camping and trekking, which would certainly not include Amber. It will drive Amber crazy. If it get too much, she will kick Amber to the kerb, and start looking for another cow.

I'm not too well-versed on American custody processes, but isn't it near impossible for a woman to not get custody? To the point that courts will give unstable, unemployed lushs custody over the father? Either there's some even more grim truth yet to be revealed, or Emily either gave up custody or did not give a shit about the custody battle at all.

What I want to say is that nothing I've seen so far indicates to me that Emily would choose her child over her fetish (which has resulted in someone's actual death). Sure, she might want to have her around on holidays, but especially considering the money she just casually drops on Amber, ultimately, her child would just be an impediment to her.

Amber absolutely cannot cope with not being the centre of her current carers universe. Just the idea that there's someone else that might be more important to Justin Feeder than Big Al will eat away at her. I feel like yall give Emily way too much credit as a parent in assuming she wants to actually do all this with her kid and cares about her enough to leave Amber. If she truly cared about her daughter she wouldn’t have let a land whale she barely even knows move into her home where her child has to be at least part time

I thought Emily's daughter lived in a different state with the dad. She also just bought the billie concert tickets (and we still don't know if it was a suite or not) . Is she spending that kind of money on her kid? I don't think anyone knows for certain how involved she is with her daughter yet

This is Amberlynn Reid. I don't think that kind of logic applies to her. Gonna go ahead and state the unpopular opinion: she is retarded. Retardation is not pedophilia.

Reading over everything she did with the kid, she sounds like a stunted individual. I wouldn't say the same about a man because they actually have the capacity in most cases to act. For Amber, Libby could've literally pushed her over if she ever tried. And I do not believe Amber would ever have tried to begin with. Rate me dumb, I don't think Amberlynn is a literal pedophile. No; it's a misconception, loudly proclaimed by abusive and controlling people (often men) and perpetuated by well-meaning people who don't understand this dynamic and not understanding that really shitty manipulative people behave in really shitty and manipulative ways. Even lying and discrediting innocent people to get away with their shit. And how strange. After writing out a very long post about how that isn't the case, along with the evidence behind it - Including Lundy Bancroft's book - that post (as well as the comment afterwards showing Ethan Ralph being guilty of this exact manipulation) is gone.

Anyway, the long and short of it is that I wouldn't take Emily not having primary custody of her child as being the sole deciding factor on whether she's a whackadoo, but looking at the record of her previous relationships would be a much stronger indicator.

She has a strong group of detractors with grudges against her since highschool who still go out of their way to warn people about her. She sought out a celebrity death fat (Colleen was doing the daytime drama tv circuit in her hayday). She got involved with the DIB (and the DIB and her previous partner seem... off). And now she's sought out Amber, a narcissist with over a decade of bad behaviour documented on the internet. Then look at behaviours and mentality of death feeders and... well, there you go.

Oh yeah, and linkies to Lundy Brancroft, because his work is amazing, and his work should be read by as many as possible to stop allowing abusive individuals (men AND women) from victimizing others.
