I find this comment particularly egregious. Even if you have conflicts with your wife's relatives, if Rekieta truly respected her wish for privacy, he'd keep this conflict private and not involve his 150k+ Twitter followers. It's beyond rude. A bit of public decorum is important when it comes to family matters.

I've always been confused by this. Cited by CPS (maybe) ... and I think around the same time, don't hold me to it, there's a long conversation in which Kayla discusses seeing ghosts (specters) about saving a newborn at the end of the hall at the second home when she was feverish.

@Not Who You Think probably has the clip. I never put the puzzle together. Dates would help.

Edit to add: It seems there was a foster child around at the time that Kayla was melting down - maybe.

Aaron was in contact with Kayla's family. Aaron was also in contact with April's family (specifically her father) the day before the arrest. They both considered him a resource for helping their respective loved one.

2024-05-23 (Day of the Arrest): Both Kayla and April's Family Have Contacted Aaron

The weekend before the arrest Aaron reached out to April and asked her to go home (her parent's home) because she wasn't safe with Nick. April replied "that will never be my home again".

The night before the arrest Aaron was on the phone with April's father about what to do and how to get her back home. One of Kayla's family members also reached out the day prior. Of course, any plans would be meaningless because they were arrested the following day.

Aaron says "they all had family members who gave a shit" and it seems that contacting Aaron was an expression of that.



This is why April and Kayla's family members are both possibilities when it comes to reaching out to Aaron and also why Aaron wouldn't be able to help either of them. Aaron was already in the process of moving on from April and Kayla and even had a new woman in his life prior to the arrest. Meanwhile both women don't seem to be on the best terms with their families. April's family will "never be [her] home again" and Kayla's family didn't show up to Kayla's own hearing in late October (just her and Nick).

Whatever their circumstances, April and Kayla both have family members that want them out of this horrible situation and have reached out to Aaron on their own at one time or another when things were looking bad.
