Every single Republican that has any remotely right-leaning beliefs will be attacked this way. They always make up some rape story to try and prevent them from getting in office. This is commonly seen with Republican Supreme Court Justice picks like Clarence Thomas or Brett Kavanaugh.
 
I have seen too many posts that go along the line of "My friend is talking about not getting a bonus from work, because they have to buy extra material before the tariffs!!!"

I really want to know the mind of this person, who is so upset about bonuses withheld due to tariffs, but is completely unphased by the idea of their own job being lost to overseas labor. That would be a pretty good indicator of job security.

Also, isn't this by the party of "tax the rich"? Tariffs at least make sense than the usual underpants gnome logic of Tax the rich > They go overseas > Profit.

Most of them are going to be up for reelection in 2026 with the exception of Murkowski so yeah definitely a lot of opportunities for them to get primaried as long as there are candidates pushed to replace them and Collins could lose to a Democrat however it would be just as bad if not worse.

If they haven't used ICBMs, strategic bombers, chemical weapons, bioweapons, or nukes, they have been holding back. Russia literally trained, and installed, the KIm family as rulers of n. Korea, and have maintained a relationship since the WW2.

This is probably the best thing that could have happened. Whether the allegations are true or not, the first Trump administration proved that rumors alone are enough to grind progress to a halt. Gaetz would have been a continual distraction for four years and his presence won't be missed.

One has to wonder if they ever lost control of the narrative to begin with. All Trump's victory did was stave off America's inevitable decline into the gay race communist hellhole that much of the rest of the world has already become.

Trump and the people around him have been through hell.

He could have carried Gates across if he wanted to.

My crack theory is the Gates will still be calling the shots, we just will not know it.

I don't mean the sexual aspect of the word grooming, but trump seems to be grooming vance to be his successor, and I think he has became fond of Musk (and his huge stack of money). Then again, Trump very well could be mellowing on his ego with having folks like tulsi and bobby around.
