Even IF a man could undo all his male physical advantages with drugs and surgery and put himself into a “fair” competitive physicality with women, there is a damn big difference between a woman having to train intensively to be at her peak in her sport and a man just taking some injections to be at the same physical level as her.

How is that fair? Yeah they might end up at the same strength in the end etc but the woman had to get there through hard work whilst the man just needed to take it easy and take some drugs.

ALSO the women have to contend with their menstrual cycle potentially fucking things over for them for a week every month or birth control which is not always completely free of side effects.

What about if she wants to start a family? Which women have to worry about doing much younger than men. For a lot of elite female athletes, becoming a mum marks the end of competing at the highest level…. Between carrying the pregnancy, birth and recovery…. That’s a lot of time spent not training… A lot of female athletes can’t bounce back into elite competition.

So men get to sit on their ass not training particularly hard and take drugs so they are eligible to compete with women, they don’t have to worry about getting a period during competition time, they also get to have a longer career due to not needing to take time out if they want kids.

So even if HRT and androgen blockers weakened men to be technically on a level playing field with women (Which it has been proven that it doesn’t)…. It will still NEVER be fair.

If there was no advantage to competing in women's leagues vs. mens why are the troons so intent to get into the women's leagues?
If there was no difference between the two sexes at sport, why aren't the pooners trying to join the men's leauges?

Anyway, OT and PL: I wrote to Jake Auchincloss (my house Rep) in favor of Nancy Mace's "protect women's private spaces act", which hasn't been given an HB number yet, but the troons call it the "bathroom ban".
