Ran across a "period" thread on r/mtf and half the comments are about how they shit a lot once a month and get such bad constipation or diarrhea. Then they talk about their cramps as if they're totally unrelated to their gastro issues.

They seem to think women just shit their pants for a week every month on the regular.

I mean, I'm sure this doesn't need explaining, because it should be obvious to everyone, but he is clearly just using the idea of the phrase 'women and girls' being co-opted as dogwhistles and hate speech as an attempt to silence women who regularly use those phrases to discuss issues that affect them.

It isn't a dogwhistle if you're literally saying what you mean. When TERFs say they want to protect women and girls, they mean exactly what they say, they aren't cloaking it around innuendo or "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" They're very explicit in their belief that they don't want men in women's toilets, women's changing rooms, women's sports, etc.

It's entirely because they're so upfront about their demands that you can tell they have nothing to hide.

The thing is, this sort of thing, the word games, are almost certainly deliberate. If you control the words and phrases your opponent is allowed to use, you make it very hard for them to make an opposing argument.

I distinctly remember that there was a big (largely unsuccessful) push on Tumblr to make not just 'retarded' a slur, but to try and claim 'stupid', 'moron', and other words like that were ableist too.

It wasn't because they cared about being inclusive of mentally challenged people, they just didn't want anyone calling them or their ideas 'stupid' without being able to immediately slap them down.

This is what baffles me the most. A normal looking masucline man who could have anyone he wanted and STILL troons out. Possible underlying autism and porn addiction aside, maybe it was that he could have anyone he wanted except himself. "I'd fuck me" type shit.

MTF AMAB - Long story short l've suspected I was intersex for a long time.

Here's why

My parents have always been suspicious of me being trans, I originally came out as Bi (I was actually trans) but my parent's actual concern was that I was trans...suspiciously.

( Every conversation in regards to coming out with my parents lead back to gender.

Like they were so worried I never could understand why )

When I was a young child I would consistently be brought to primary care doctors for (injections) shots. I have distinct memories of consistently going and trying to run out of the office from fear. (I remember because this is when the incredibles movie came out..one visit while waiting in the lobby a kid had a violet action figure that I wanted for myself lo/)

In a deep conversation with my dad he let it slip that when I was born he was upset..because he thought I was a girl..because the doctors saw my genitalia. (it was very small). Also there was another complication.

I had issues with one of my testicles going back up by itself as a child and it would cause me pain (Doctor said this could be a sign. I confirmed this happened and he didn't seem to believe me)

I was mistaken as a girl as a child often (1 had long hair which my parents forcibly cut...)

Even prior to HRT I had a slight curve to my hips (feminine, but my parents forced me into sports and stressed for me to gain muscle and not be fleshy)

I grew breast buds as a young child pre teens (went away from exercise and diet..I had undiagnosed dysphoria caused by bullying and parents forcing me into sports)

I told all of this to my doctor and he didn't beleive me. I could see it in his eyes and he basically said many trans people wish they were as an explanation. I understand why this may be the case so I keep trying to convince myself he's right but I can't shake the feeling. He is extremely dismissive.. Are my experiences as a child normal????
