Because he basically did? The whole war was supposedly started to ensure an independent Poland then the second Hitler is done for he's perfectly fine with Stalin ensuring Poland is the Soviets bitch. It's like starting a lawsuit to stop Apple from buying Microshit because you want them to be independent then helping Amazon buy them instead. Or George Washington fighting for independence then selling out the Spanish or French.

Churchill ordered the British General Staff to come up with a plan to basically stab the Red Army in the back by having America drop a bunch of nukes on eastern Germany then have the British and Murican armies go blitzkrieg on their commie asses, and only backed down when Murica told him 1) we don't have the bombs available to do it and 2) even if we did we wouldn't do it anyway
