[I'm conviced some amount of campaign money was spent on betting markets but we'll probably never know. Every dollar bet on Kamala would've came from a Dem donor and went directly into a Trump voter's pocket so that would be a nuclear scandal]

The article doesn't say exactly how much they spent, just six figures. So are we talking about $100k or more like $900k? Either way it's fucking absurd to spend that kind of money to build a set for a podcast that already has it's own fucking set.

I've had the idea for a while now that we need classes in public schools specifically about bad government, what it looks like, and explanations as to why it's bad for everyone including the people "winning" in the "short term". What we've had for the past few decades in the west is the government/corporate/financial equivalent of strangling the fucking goose that lays the golden eggs because it's not laying eggs fast enough. Hopefully with this we'll see a global turn at all levels of society towards an economic model that isn't based on unlimited fucking immigration and horrific abuse of the native citizenry by their respective governments, but if that trend is to continue into the future we must have a generation raised with the knowledge of good governance. Or we're still fucked.
