Even in the most rural areas I've ever been where the voting official is the usual 80 year old granny, you at the very least have to countersign in an ancient book that already has your signature in it. At my actual voting location I needed ID. Real ID. The kind with a hologram in it and shit.

Trivially simple to do for anyone organized*, given most states have both voter registration records and records of previous voting available on request, or easily downloadable from whatever the latest iteration of Raidforums is even if they aren't 100% public. All you need to do is find ten or twenty people of your gender within twenty or so years of your apparent age who haven't voted in the last couple elections and drive round voting as them. If you skew older, noone's going to bat an eyelid if you act confused if you get unlucky and are told you've already voted.
Yeah, you do that and you can cast maybe 2 fake votes before you get busted and that is IF that person you impersonate hasn't already voted AND decides to never vote. If either of those two things happen, or the clerk recognizes you after the first attempt, and you're cooked. All to fake 2 votes out of millions. Completely fucking retarded and anyone saying that's a way to do voting fraud is legitimately mentally retarded
